So the girls are now 8 weeks old and are starting week 3 since flipped to 12/12 it has been like watching paint dry the past couple of weeks plants have stretched and growing leaves like crazy but flowers have not started to form yet maybe just some pistils but from pics I have seen by the end of 3rd week should see some flowering start??....

I am using cana, they say use the same thing for flower and bloom... I am also using blue gold hydro and blue gold carb supplements. the blue gold directions say to use less nutes than normal as they kick the potency up... I started mixing the cana a/b and cana zyme at about 1/4 strength when they went into veg from seedling.... I am still feeding the same strength as then... they don't seem to be showing any signs of nute deficiency so I don't think I should mess with the 1/4 mix

Was the plant mature at flip(8 weeks)? They won't show anything before that except veg growth. Gonna need to add weeks to finish time to compensate for immature plant at flip.

6-15 days max to hit flower after flip if the plant is ready. PK 13/14 day 14-21 and again@ 35-42. The Canna website calls for pk13/14 in week 5-6... That is late IME.

This being my first grow I flipped at 5 weeks my tent is only 3 X 3 and I only have 2 300 W Leds so I figured between the size of my tent and lower quality lights I am probably at max my tent and lights can handle... here is a pic the day I switched to flower.. to my untrained eye I thought they were ready for the flip

it has not been 3 weeks since flip yet as of today more like 2 1/2 weeks I see today the little flower balls are just starting to form on the bud tips they are small but definitely starting to form

Edit... my report is not to the exact day I just give a close time line exact days would be they turned 8 weeks old from when they popped on 10/23 and I flipped to flower on 10/7... hope this clears up any confusion

5 weeks he flipped and he saw no change. Was watching paint dry faster.

Now at 71/2 - 8 weeks he has pre flowers. Which goes back to what I asked that you quoted and he confirmed..

5 weeks you can flip all you like but the plant isn't gonna flower until it's ready. Same for taking cuts, rule of thumb is 7-8 weeks on a from seed plant.

Some say 3-5 weeks you can flip but again don't mean you're gonna see flowers in 7-14 days.

About 10k results on Google saying different things. Seedbanks say 8ish weeks. Random people say 3-8 weeks
Here on RIU they day they same random things Google says.

And honestly wasn't worth the retort.

bottom line all is good we are flowering.. of course I know there is still a long way to go and a lot can go wrong between now and harvest and the unusually high humidity for this time of year is causing some concern but I will just continue to do the best I can with what I have to work with..

Your doing GREAT. Keep it up. They can get s little fussy in flower. Lots of good air flow.

yea I have 3 fans blowing around in the tent and a 6" exhaust fan sucking it all out.. I tried a small dehumidifier in the tent as it has been humid here but it didn't work for shit maybe to much air circulating around for it to work...

no no pk yet would have to order it... I pulled a couple branches over the past week but have now pretty much run out of room to move anything any where

I have great luck with Moorbloom. Home depot has or can get for you. I use a teaspoon/Gal. weeks 3-5.
