did they reveal who the other campaign official was elsewhere in the indictment?
not sure. from what i am reading, there are a lot of unnamed "campaign officials" and the like, and they likely will know who they are when reading these indictments. that has to be unsettling.

it is day one of indictmas. we have years left to go.

we don't know who "campaign supervisor" or "high ranking campaign official" are, but they do and they know they are next.

these charges will send them to prison for decades if they don't cooperate for a plea deal.

manafort is either going to die in prison or give them everything. those are his only two choices now.

G. Gordon Libby was one sick fuke. He was reported to once hold his hand over a candle long enough to get second degree burns without flinching.

At least he served time. What people do after that is their business as long as its legal. He may have been repugnant, but he had a first amendment right to be.

There is no guarantee any indicted trump minions will ever see jail time. He can pardon them outright. The question is only whether courts will allow it. And this scotus has at least 4 "originalists" who wouldn't take that power away from him.
Not G Gordon libby

Scooter Libby

Trump will be toast if he pardons anyone. Joe Arpaio wasn't on his campaing talking to russia

I just hope Manafort doesn't become a latter-day Scooter Libby.
He already is.

Trump WILL NOT pardon him. The reason is simple: A president can't pardon someone to obstruct justice. Now, I'm sure that the FBI had Manafort's (and everybody else involved) phone tapped. If, for any reason, The Donald or any of his representatives ever called Manafort and discussed him keeping his mouth shut for any reason, then that will be the nail in Trump's coffin. He'll be impeached for obstruction.

Now, Trump being the complete idiot he is, he probably thinks that his pardon is absolute, and that he can pardon Manafort and it will all go away.

That isn't true. A presidential pardon can not be used to obstruct justice in any way. IF, and it's a big if, that phone call ever happened, then it's all over for Trump.

If it didn't, then the beat goes on and we'll see where it goes from here.

That is a legal theory that has NEVER been tested, and which doesn't exist in the simple wording of the constitution. It will requir judicial review, and it would by it's nature make it to the SCOTUS.

This SCOTUS has at least 4 originalists on the bench, and 5 appointed by republican presidents. The history of their rulings is not one to take powers away from the executive branch where it relates to the wording of the constitution. They have limited presidential authority wrt laws passed by congress, but NOT on a constitutional question where the constitution is clear.

Trump WILL use pardons to obstruct justice because he believes he can. It will take years to clear the matter up. He will be probably be long happily retired by then, and maybe even in arlington cemetery.

just so we're clear, everything you are saying is a lie.

trump's campaign manager conspired against the united states while he was trump's campaign manager.
As usual, you talk nothing but shit, (because your just incredibly fucking ignorant).

Conspiracy is on every federal indictment because if the other charges fail to get a conviction, conspiracy almost always does. It was the only charge I couldn't beat so I had to plea. This charge is why the government has such a high conviction rate compared to States courts.

Still a nothing burger. Guilt by association is not going to impeach a sitting president. Oh yea, and Sanders is right, the real story is the Clinton collusion.

Go ahead and get excited retard, but you've been wrong every other time since the primaries. You suck at this!

manafort is 68 years old. if he doesn't offer up all the dirt, he will spend the rest of his life in prison.

and papadopolous has been spilling the beans since july. the collusion is proven, he has already pleaded guilty.

it's over, trumptard. they have everyone dead to rights on this.

more arrests coming very soon.

Still a nothing burger??? We now have a maga minion pleading guilty of lying about collusion.. and in an email to top campaign staff said:

“Russia has been eager to meet Mr Trump for quite sometime and have been reaching out to me to discuss”. The official forwarded it to another staffer saying “let’s discuss. We need someone to communicate DT is not doing these trips. It should be someone low level in the campaign so as not to send any signal”

Nothing my ass! These Maga minions actively working to work with Putin!!! Treason, treason, treason

You'll have to do better than that to charge a sitting president. That just implies his staff may have colluded. So what we already know Hillary's did.

Just realized that one jeffery beurogard sessions was the lead national security adviser for the trump campaign who surely would have directed popodopolous. He is surely "campaign supervisor" number one.

Hmmmmm.

Wrong again, if there were real proof of collusion it would have been in this indictment. Great job, your 100% track record of dumbass remains intact!

Oh wait, I'll give you half credit, Yes there will be more arrests. Think of how embarrassing it would be to Mueller if there weren't but in the end,Trump will be reelected in 2020.

Actually, it is. But you have to know how to read to find it.

The die is cast.

Wait for it.

rumor is it is either sessions or sam clovis.

but remember, we are seeing only a small fraction of the investigation. there is far more damning stuff out there. what we are seeing today alone should cripple the regime though.

so you are saying the papadopolous indictment, which shows direct collusion between top campaign officials and the kremlin, does not show collusion?

LOL
