How big of a tree are you growing?
View attachment 4037125Youd be amazed what you can do with 2 gallons of soil. Its all about building a dense fiborous root system and proper feeding.
View attachment 4037128I will admit, the plant in the first did not yield as much as it shouldve, a 3 gal wouldve been better but i have to be careful not to get plants too big.
1 gallon Coco/perlite in a fabric pot so the roots air prune themselves.
My mom's in 1 gallon Coco/perlite have turned into trees with a thick woody trunk.
I run them in .25 gallon pots after rooting for about 2.5 weeks on avg. They then go into 1 gallons.
Notice the overall gerth and stance on these, only at week 4 of flower. The one that stays small is Pakistan valley kush. Let's me put 25 in my flowering tent and maximize my yield for the space I have.
Right now I don't have enough veg room to do a long 2-3 months of low stress training (which is what I do to make outdoor monsters lol)
So it's cram a large amount in quickly,
Thing to remember with pot sizes is the perfect pot size is the one that works best for the kind of run you are doing.
I've seen buddies just make big ass beds of soil out of kiddie pools and flip some crazy yields out of it.
Generally with soil I think it was 1 gallon per ft, when it comes to medium's to many variables, I know I can veg a 3' beautiful healthy squat bush in 1 gallon Coco/perlite
