Truth be told, it doesn't bother me as I'd be spending that much anyway in one go. However, I'd be happier about it if they dropped the shipping fee for soils, etc. I know it's only a fiver, but I'm always broke so whaddayado.... :lol:

How the fuck do ya calibrate a PH pen :wall:

Shits been too long. I'm down in the shed for the past hour fooling around with this shit !

My buffer is PH6.92 at 10°c
When my pen is in it reads PH7.7

Do I just turn the screw til it's the buffer PH ?

It's been too long and I feel like a fooking rookie :mrgreen:

Yeah true that. I just bought my coco in bulk so like 20 blocks for 20 quid and that does 200 litres. Cant go wrong lol

The pen in the buffer was 8.5 so I moved it to 7.0

I took the pen out and cleaned it. I put it back in the buffer and it was reading 9.2 :wall:
I don't think I was cleaning it enough. So went again. I rechecked 3 more times and it was 6.9 to 7.1
Fuck it. That'll do.

So my plain water is 6.9
0.5ml of bio bloom made it 6.6
And the runoff was coming out at 6.1 to 6.3

Are these figures good in yer experience?

Coco or soil?
 
If your in soil Naes , don't worry about ph !!! Ya could do more harm than good fookin about with it, not needed so much in soil

Ya man I only have ever grown in soil.
I usually buy Allmix and the biobizz nute range.
Just gave the ladies their first feed tonight so hopefully the leaves will pick up.

Just reading up about it now. Sounds very interesting. Feels like soil and grows like Hyrdo. Il start saving :mrgreen:

They sure do man. I gave them a good water with feed awhile ago so hoping they'll pick up by tomorrow night.

I also set my timer for 21/3 so they'll get some rest tomorrow afternoon.
