You weren't kidding about the thick stems.
Great looking over all, @OLD MOTHER SATIVA !..modified flood and drain inserts will be used
Nice plants , great work ?just turfed the skinny ag because the nanners were gonna be a problem and the early sample was good but not good enough
[didn't swallow my tongue]
i coulda used it for something but i justrammed it in the trash bin..
as my friend says:
"cull with extreme prejudice"
i will be testing the sample heat sinks on the 250 w pcb at 250 w to see if the heatsink work at full tilt..then three @200 w each
...my new 600w secret View attachment 4032180 View attachment 4032181 [jk] drivers are on the way
but i gotta say running 6 x 250w panels @ 100w each only needs a bit of air on it to stay really cool and really covers a 4 x 4
or 5 x 5 area well..also i can get really close..
even if the heatsinks work well i just dunno ..after growing with these things the 6 x 6" x 22" panels per frame seem dang good..
got some other inflower here is a newly flipped LCATHG sativa [last chance at the holy grail ]
very thick stalks massively dense branching right from the start
.thanksNice plants , great work ?
What distance to canopy are you running ? Actual watts ? Taken any par readings of current set up..? What color temp are your boards ? where available ? thanks
thanks..4' x4' 100 gal..my design pex feed grid..modified flood and drain insert..i love this methodGreat looking over all, @OLD MOTHER SATIVA !
Slightly off topic, but could you tell me about your rez's from the quoted post? Brand, size, etc?
Damn, I was hoping they were a little smaller than 100gal, but was afraid you might say that. I like the 4x4 rez for a good shallow fit in the tent, but don't want to spend the $100+ they usually want for them, and definitely don't want to use 100gal on every rez change! I guess the search for the perfect rez continues lolthanks..4' x4' 100 gal..my design pex feed grid..modified flood and drain insert..i love this method
used to grow trees
like that too but have higher legal plant count
Sun is around 4100k from what I understand.re samson leds /panels for growing
this is how samsung panels started
with strips first
here are the estionian strips i started with
View attachment 4059381 things are doing pretty dang good iam testing flower with a 5000k vs 3000k
i was told once i go 5k..i won't wanna do it any other way
someone has to be nuts enough to do this..i'm game
below.. the taller mex starting to flower under the 6 x 22 panels

Correct....The sun is around 4100 I understand..I run 5000k and 3000k in veg and flower. I get plenty of dead leaves at the end. I was told cannabis folks are backwards regarding light spectrum going with 3000k over 5000k. The two mixed together is termed natural daylight.
You guys have to remember that "sunlight" changes colour throughout the day, at different latitudes and altitudes, and at different times of the year. Light is redder near the tropics due to the thicker atmosphere around the equator, and bluer in low ozone highland areas where the atmosphere is thinner. It's also redder in autumn and winter - again due to the sun's angle having to penetrate thicker atmosphere. Plants flower in autumn, when overall sunlight is at a lower kelvin temperature relative to summer. This may not be 100% accurate, but being by Canon, I would expect it to be close. Their diagram says 4,800K for direct sunlight.
