What kinda light? Cfls? I'd say no. Hps i'd say definitely unless you're roofing your ballasts. Even then i'd say that simply a waste of power. -opinion of a nubbie noob

I flower a 9x6 footprint in about a 12x12 room.
Requires air conditioning.
No idea how big your space really is but in my very humble opinion.

1000 watts of HPS is perfect for a 4x4 space. 650 watts of COB LED for a 4x4

if you really want to kill it in a 4 X 4, i'd go with 2 600 watt hps....one could do it, but two, with proper cooling, will give you damn good coverage, and the most efficient use of power. 2 600s produce more light per watt than 1 1k

Right now I have 3, 300 watt LEDs. I have cob 1600 I may add but that will generate a lot of heat. Not sure if it's hotter than 2 600w hps though?
My height range is 4.5' expandable to 6.6'
In veg. Temp ranging 75° - 80°
I have a supplemental heater which is a total waste of energy when I could be getting the heat from the lights.
I run my exhaust fan a total of 9 hours a day.

I run one 600hps in a 4x5. 2500 sounds like a lot for that space. Good luck cooling it.

300 watt LED's aren't details.
The Mars Hydro is a "300 watt LED" that sells for 69 dollars and is actually only 120 watts. Some are even worse than that.
They also sell a "1600 watt COB" that is actually only 550 watts.
That's my point.

It's shit. It's a 130 watt fixture not really good enough to do a single plant to it's maximum potential.
A single 600 watt HPS would blow away every light you have combined.
