Putin is the real power in washington. ;)
I would say that Putin is the real power in the White House. There is much more to DC than that. In many ways, his influence in the White House has probably cost him in the other arenas of gubbmit. Not enough though.

Well, that would be true if multiple members of congress were not also in Putin's pocket. Pro-Putin super pac's pumped millions into the campaigns of the gop hierarchy, and they are indebted for it. That list includes McConnell and Ryan.

Also owned are critters like nunes and rohrbacher, among many others who's names are escaping me. But at least 5 members of congress were on trumps transition leadership team, and who were involved in or had knowledge of the meetings between the trump team and russians looking for payback..

The GOP has deep ties to Russian money. It's not just the white house and the cabinet.

By the way, even jill stein and bernie will have their turn in the barrel. They both benefitted from russian money and election tampering to weaken clinton.

Now that the Republicans finally have seemingly accomplished something this year by their passage of that rip off of most of the American public through their fucked up tax bill, what's next?
They failed to repeal Obamacare, which basically was the only other thing they have brought to the table too accomplish under Trump's rule, besides that fucking Wall and trying to keep Muslims out of this country.
So what's next for the next 3 years of hell on earth while Trump is POTUS?
Give me some thoughts on what the next catastrophe the GOP will produce before Trump leaves the WH.
Trump has pretty much finished dismantling everything Obama accomplished in his 8 years, so I really don't know what's next.
Any ideas?
they'll just be coming back for another season of presapprentice.

The complete repeal of the new deal. The repeal of every amendment after the 10th, plus the first. Establishment of slavery, indentured servitude, state run orphanages, work houses, inquisitions, company stores, debts passed on through generations, forced organ donations to rich families, a one party government, oligarchs, forced religion, no such thing as sex harrasment or assault laws, .....

The list is endless. So much to do, so few bullets to fire.
we can become carers:

The film begins with on-screen captions explaining that a medical breakthrough in 1952 has permitted the human lifespan to be extended beyond 100 years. It is narrated by 28-year-old Kathy H as she reminisces about her childhood at a boarding school called Hailsham, as well as her adult life after leaving the school. The first act of the film depicts the young Kathy, along with her friends Tommy and Ruth, spending their childhood at Hailsham in 1978. The students are encouraged to create artwork, and their best work gets into The Gallery run by a mysterious woman known only as Madame. One day, a new teacher, Miss Lucy, quietly informs the students of their fate: they are destined to be organ donors and will die, or "complete", in their early adulthood. Shortly afterward she is sacked by the headmistress, Miss Emily, for sharing this revelation with the children. As time passes, Kathy falls in love with Tommy, but Ruth and Tommy begin a relationship and stay together throughout the rest of their time at Hailsham.

In the second act, Kathy, Ruth and Tommy, now teenagers, are rehoused in cottages on a farm in 1985. They are permitted to leave the grounds on day trips, but are resigned to their eventual fate. At the farm, they meet former pupils of schools similar to theirs, and it is revealed that they are all clones. They also hear rumours of the possibility of "deferral" – a temporary reprieve from organ donation for donors who are in love and can prove it. Tommy becomes convinced that The Gallery at Hailsham was intended to look into their souls and that artwork sent to The Gallery will be able to confirm true love where it is present. The relationship between Tommy and Ruth becomes sexual, and jealousy causes Kathy and Ruth to break their friendship. The lonely Kathy leaves and becomes a "carer" – a clone who is given a temporary reprieve from donation as a reward for supporting and comforting donors as they are made to give up their organs. Tommy and Ruth's relationship ends.

In the third and final act, in 1994, Kathy is still working as a carer, and has watched many clones gradually die as their organs are harvested. Kathy, who has not seen Ruth or Tommy since the farm, discovers Ruth, frail after two donations. They find Tommy, who is also weakened by his donations, and drive to the sea. There, Ruth admits that she did not love Tommy, and only seduced him because she was afraid to be alone. She is consumed with guilt and has been searching for a way to help Tommy and Kathy. She believes that the rumours of "deferral" are true, and has found the address of the gallery owner, Madame, who she thinks may grant deferrals to couples in love. Ruth dies on the operating table shortly afterward.

Kathy and Tommy finally begin a relationship. Tommy explains to Kathy that he has been creating art in the hope that it will aid deferral. He and Kathy drive to visit Madame, who lives with the headmistress of Hailsham. The two teachers tell them that there is no such thing as deferral, and that Tommy's artworks will not help him. They explain that the purpose of The Gallery was not to look into their souls but to investigate whether the "all but human" clones even have souls at all; Hailsham was the last place to consider the ethical implications of the donor scheme. As they take in the news on their return journey, Tommy breaks down in an explosion of rage and frustration, and he and Kathy cling to each other in grief. The film ends with Tommy dying on the operating table. Kathy is left alone, waiting for her donations which will begin in a month. Contemplating the ruins of her childhood, she asks in voice-over whether her fate is really any different from the people who will receive her organs; after all, "we all complete".

what's in a name..we already have a one-party government..the moderates of the government are the dems and hardliners, the republicans.

we have forced religion: the intertwine of church and state exists now with 'force' being the 'right to religious freedom'..as others force 'their right' actually exposes those who wish no exposure equating to 'freedom from religion'..their 'right' takes away my right to be free.

and if you support hillary in 2020 you will be part of the problem.

the democrats need young, new fresh blood, like when obama came on the scene.

hillary is TOAST forever ...
Hillary said she isn't running again and isn't dooing anything to make people think otherwise. bernie on the other hand is in campaign mode, and all he will bring us is another trump term. he needs a long vacation in an old age home.

The Americans will never, ever, fucking learn that most Republicans don't give a fuck about the average human being, yet like locusts. or other blights, they get voted in every 8 fucking years. That is the cycle of American politics.
Elect a Republican POTUS, and get ready for war, increased poverty and more debt, just like what has happened for the last 40 years, just like what Nixon, Reagan, both Bush's accomplished during their terms in office.
And now we have Trump.
Can you imagine the mayhem he is going to leave, considering the level of his ineptitude and pure ignorance?
If I lived in another country, I would be smiling at the stupidity, but unfortunately, I don't, so I just sit here and rant to my cat and RIU and get high, and try not to cry.
I'm just fucking sick of it.
