Yeah, I agree with you. That's what I think is part of the problem, is cops are trained to act like the military, there's no reason for it.

Apparently, the GR police department are starting a new policy on how to handle children in situations like that video, called "Honstie's policy". Crazy how these thugs with a gun need to be trained/educated on how to treat a child.

If what you said was accurate, "vast majority of cops...really good at their jobs" that isn't a good thing.

The reason why is cops take an oath to uphold all laws.

Yet, all laws are not based in restituting an actual victim. Further, many laws are immoral and are simply edicts from "overlords" having no rational basis in anything.
Therefore cops take an oath to use force to uphold victimless crime type laws. Which means they've taken an oath to be aggressors against neutral people who haven't harmed another person or another persons property.

If you or I behaved like cops do, we would be acting criminally, which means cops have taken an oath to act criminally since actions define meanings. Costumes, badges and titles do not exempt a person or give them a pass to be a dick. All cops have taken an oath to be a dick and many if not most fulfill their oaths.

I'll explain how it works since evidently you didn't take a 5th grade civics class. The government makes the laws. The cops enforce them. You have a problem with a law? Talk to your congressman. Don't take it out on someone that's just doing their job. Law and order is paramount to a stable country. Cops don't get to pick and choose which laws the uphold. Any other questions?
