Growing in 100% worm castings?

Back in the day i knew a cat who mixed EWC with perlite 50/50 ratio. Contrary to what some say EWC won't burn.

I think the answer to the premise, is no. No you can't grow marihuana in 100% worm castings. They would not survive goodly.

I keep hearing about the UK's most famous insect frass; Charge, by Ecothrive.

Frass makes a great foliar too. Soak a couple of hours then run it thru a coffee filter.

I just let my thrips, fungus nats, and spidermites poop all over the leaves, same effect but it is free.

Hate to reply so late in the game but how did those plants grown in 50/50 EWC and perlite turn out.. thinking about running it myself..

Frass works well on house plants. I bought some at a end of season sale for $1 a pound.

I've not mixed it in my grow yet but am pleased at how my house plants respond.

Try it in tea with worm castings. (chitin + chitinase)

Hate to reply so late in the game but how did those plants grown in 50/50 EWC and perlite turn out.. thinking about running it myself..

White tips on one plant with slight N Tox. Other one potassium got locked out. They outgrew it and turned out to be monsters but 50% was too much to start with - just caused more problems.

I’d keep it 10-20% tops.

Used 10% for these and were grown outside 55’ North so explains the size. Still very healthy.

I see EWC as a slight mute boost but mainly for the mircobes and water retention

Watering with milk will only result in the ability to grow munchie inducing herb and yogurt at the same time. Adding dairy to a environment where it will rot adds so many nasty pathogens to your soil. I don't understand why everyone wants to be like Jesse Pinkman was in the beginning of breaking bad, adding chickpeas to his batch to make it stronger. Pretty soon it will be adding blended steak for beefy plants
