why are you all defensive? I literally voted Obama in hopes of lawful cannabis and he has the best teleprompter skills of any human I have ever seen. what's your problem?

Sorry, I have family members that say "he's only a good speaker because he reads from a teleprompter." It makes me wonder if they've ever actually watched or listenes to one of his speeches. As if reading a teleprompter is all it takes to be eloquent and inspirational.

90%+ of liberal (left) leaning Americans are not socialists and do not want socialism.

Quote me where I have said that exact thing. The problem of inequality may be inherent to capitalism, and abuses are bound to happen. It is obvious that people use their money to influence government policy to benefit themselves. I support limiting government where government makes things less fair, also allowing it to regulate industry to make it more fair, and to make certain common goods accountable to the public for the sake of fairness and prosperity (water, roads, electricity, broadband even). The free market is great for most industries, competition is key, and part of our problem is government is being wielded by people that wish to undermine the free market for personal gain to insulate their wealth.

The biggest right-wing (modern Republican brand of conservative) lie I wish to expose is that government is an ineffective tool for the people to return fairness and equity where it has been corrupted. Republicans use government policy to greatly advantage themselves and their constituents while telling people how ineffectual government is; they want people apathetic. They don't want people to understand how public policy effects them, they want people to cheer when they say 'down with the government' while they expand the government for their own purposes. A socialist would want the government to control the economy and people. I want the people simply to take part in their government and stand up for themselves.

Your made up libertarian religion is completely based upon belief in something that has never happened anywhere. The Von Mises institute, the fount of all things libertarian even says outright that they don't believe in math and science. Also they oppose equality. A completely unhinged and made up idea that doesn't even deserve to be called a theory.
