SI is an International Standard Units body, it is not US. I said brightness is not an SI unit. Candela is the International base unit for luminous intensity and the derived radiant intensity, not brightness. Radiant Intensity is the radiometric equivalent of luminous intensity. Brightness can only be interrupted as a photobiological quantity and therefore cannot have a radiometric equivalent. That is why brightness is no longer used as an international unit of measurement. The two links you used to back up you position were NOT, as you said, "technical communities" they were glossaries created by some guy selling shit. What the fuck do you not understand?

What I don't understand is why you are blathering on about this in the politics forum.

Totally agree that the units of measure you blather on about are important in the LED lighting sub forum. Even there, there is disagreement. I'm not really interested in all that because I grow outdoors.

Russia is indeed ramping up production to supply Europe.

China built all those islands so it can claim and develop the oil in the SCS.

I have some friends who are PhD MIT and Stanford EE and CS grads. Love them dearly but their idea of a conversation is soooooo dull.

At a party the other night, one said to another, "he said he could do that with a 54726". The other thought the idea hilarious and laughed.
