Split my plant !!

Hey all, was recently doing some training on this little one when I split the stem by accident, has anyone ever done this before and if so will it be alright?

Use black electrical tape like a bandaid to protect from the elements

Put a dab of honey on the wound and tape it up. It will be healed in a week or two.

You could just leave it alone lol shit happens in nature all the time. One of my mains snapped on my current plant. I left it well over a month ago.

I like duct tape and a small piece of wood as a splint.....done


Larger plants I get cotton rope wet and then wrap it around the stock where it's cracked....rope dries and gets even tighter,cover with tape ...no issues

Looks like a minor boo boo.. Bandage it up and will be fine.

Had a plant close to flowering and tried to tie each side down and open her up .split in half like a wish bone.taped her up and she was fine.

I've had 10 foot monsters split branches off of the main trunk-still attached but cleaved open by wind damage. Just splint the damage and let her grow...

Silly question. Is the likes of electrical tape actually a good thing? I just wonder about the glue on the stuff, and any possible effects from that as you don't know what's in that.

It's why I've used Ty-Raps in the past on various plants instead in the past, but maybe I'm just a bit paranoid about things like that.

I don't smoke that, or lick it, or drink it.

But then again I'm not the sort of tool that eats Tide capsules either, but I'm sure there would be some out there who would neck a glass of emulsion just so their turds were nice and shiny.
