I've been poking around here and the web extensively but haven't been able to come up with a concrete answer to this question.
My Setup:
2 pots @ 27 Gallon each RDWC SCROG
4x8' Tent
2 XXL 1000w HPS on a mover
6" inline fan
GH Nutrients Flora Trio with CalMag, Armour Si and HydroGuard all to spec
Triple Cheese (consistent stretch of 300% @ full power under my Mars1200 LEDS (550W at wall))
I've been vegging these two plants under a single XXL @ 600 watts until the second light came in. Now I have both lights up and going on the mover @ 600 watts each. Should the power be increased to 1000 watts immediately on day #1 of flower or should I wait until the stretch is complete?
I know what to expect when it comes to the ridiculous stretch of this phenotype, however I've never been certain if maximizing the lights on the first day of flowering is counter productive or electrically inefficient. I'm primarily concerned with the final harvest as opposed to saving a few dollars to be clear.
