The terps are fairly mild but it's a sweet cookie aroma with the fruitiness of the Sherbert. This plant would have done a lot better for sure if grown in cooler temps. Even my other strains which I grew before had less smell this round so...

Smoking some of the lowers its smokes about the same as one of my Forum BX's just not the same taste. This has a taste on the exhale I can describe yet will have to get back to you. Potency is decent but doesn't hit me like my other keepers.

Overall it's a decent Gelato cross imo I didn't think it was a keeper but it got chopped early. My Morning Breath (OGKB x SSH) is still my top Cookie smoke & she was practically fully seeded haha so she is hard to beat right now.

thanks for the report, shame about the mold, can see from the pics she is not looking overly resinous as one might expect too...i will hit mine when grown out with some Mendobreath pollen & hope the outcome will be ok

So the lanky kushy pheno ended up being the best smoke even out of my Forum BX but I culled the plant. I would have held on to this one it's got a good high with some legs. Feels like a 60/40 sativa the buzz felt around the head. I haven't found cookies to be that indica in the effects.

It's got some frost just not all blinged out like others. This lanky pheno smokes as good as my OGKB cross. Wish I could have ran her a 2nd time, trained here & got some decent yields. Haha do the cookies with the worst yield smoke the best or what?

hmmmm she did turn out #1 after all, i will hit mine with 3 different males & hope they will come through ok, dang your rite about the lower yields sometimes end up being special...or is it we are holding it more dearer cos there's less of it lol? as it is im gonna get SureBreds Sunset Sherbet too...wanna make some of my own Gelato 33 & Larry Bird Breath as well

I figured it would turn out #1 but the way it grew just like an old lavender x kush. Lol this defiantly isn't a placebo effect but you do make a good point. The taste & smell aren't anything noteworthy but it grew in hot conditions & was the tallest so grew into the light.

Yet still smoked better than Forum BX which was in a cooler tent. I'm not trying to compare just trying to add some legitimacy to Surebred's genetics. Not sure I would order anymore unless they restock Birthday Cake but even then I'm done with cookies. I like the OG's a lot better Cookies has less Punch & doesn't make me sweat like when I smoke OG.

good report & glad you followed through about the effects, i see your point about being done with cookies & moving on...ive just started on them so after another 12mths or so i guess i will be done too hehehe, wanna try & reproduce IHG's Rainbow Cookies(Sherbet x Animal Cookies) too, more than a few people are stating its some of the nicest toke they've ever had as well as awesome bag appeal etc!

Im used to low yields growing sativas so I never worry about it that much when it comes to what I deem as a keeper. I did end up with another pheno that looks like the shorter one. Had a mishap with the mother plant so had to pull this pheno out of of a few days flower. Vegging clone now to put in flower, this pheno smells the best & is a fucking beast!

Yes they are regs, I ended up with one male out of 4 seeds. The male looked like the lanky one but with less stretch but I culled it before it got into the stretch. I may hit the girls with some pollen but not sure from who.

Two options, OGKB x SSH or reverse my Ghost OG x Tahoe Cure keeper. The OGKB would be cool as I think I would get a similar progeny to the Gelato to pheno hunt through.

Reversing my Ghost Cure to make S1's & hit a few other lingering plants still in tent one of those being the Gelato. Never reversed a plant so I think this will be fun to do. I feel you on making your own Gelato, I'm trying to make wedding cake like seed junkie.

Hi mate are these sure bred gelatos feminised seeds ? Do you still recommend them

yes they arrived here in Australia no problem, they were not stealth, just in sealed silver ziplock type satchel thingy, havnt grown any out yet tho

Im running surebred superseeds gelato 33.i have 1 pheno thats like big round boulders and the other is like a landrace sativa.hopfully the landrace pheno finnishes.they are both at 6.5 weeks 12/12 the one with the solid round nugs has milky tricombs but the other is all clear.
