You can't just pick an arbitrary number for saying how much you are going to water. There is so many different factors that you have to take account that will determine the amount of water each plant will need.

Thoroughly soak them, wait until they are dry. Repeat. No need to have some set number measured out to give them.

I think you need to do less scheduling and more dealing with the day-to-day conditions of your medium, plants and environment. All of these things alter how much to water/feed along the way.

For instance, I plant into .75g pots with ProMix HP to start and in the germination/early seedling period I water maybe once a week. I just check to make sure the soil remains moist and when it dries down water again.

A friend of mine gifted me a photo-Sour Diesel Clone that's currently on a 12/12 cycle in my indoor tent so once its harvested (within the next 2 weeks or so) I'm going to pop in a new batch of auto's and try growing them in a seedling tray (iHort Qplugs) then transfer them to their forever home to see if that does anything different. I currently only have 5G fabric pots, do you think that's too big for these plants?

In addendum, I plan on amending the soil when I refill the pots to include a 1 to 3 ratio of perlite.

The part you see above ground as a seedling is only a solar panel array to provide the energy to develop a root system eh? So the larger the container these roots have to fill the slower the plant grows.
