Well what a fucking discouraging thing to come home to.... Forgot the pump off this morning... Like 8 hours. There all drooped to fuck
And I knocked the feed lines off the mother and its all drooped to fuck

Aero cloners have always seemed overly complicated for the results to me.
Clone tray in water with humidity dome, with clones in root riot cubes has always done the trick, foliage spray here and there till they root. Simple and low matience with very high success rate.

The theory will cloning is that when you sever the branch there is a fight or flight response. Either grow roots or die. Misting gives the cutting the illusion that everything is ok. Without the dome or sprays they only have one choice to stay alive.
That's me paraphrasing straight from EZclone's informational video. If it was going to decrease the success of their product they wouldn't say it.. I thought it sounded sketchy, but the last few cuts I took all rooted, and I don't usually have good luck with clones (probably because I was babying them too much).

My last batch took forever to root. I figure it had something to do with the cold snap we had around here. My grow room floor is concrete, and it had the cloner pretty chilly.My big cloner isnt up and running atm probably tomorrow or the next day
But this was done in a bubbler

The dome doesn’t require any work and it’s cheap stick it on and forget about it way less time consuming in my opinion especially seeing these results as long as the humidity dome is on tight, and the foliage spray is optional. At most I will have to refill the water 9omcw before they root. I usually check on clones just once a week never have to worry about them wilting.

I dont have to spray anything
I dont have to watch it for 2 weeks lol

Yea ok buddy I don’t personally care what u do, do whatever works for you but aero cloners are expensive and just seem like a waste of money and high matience based on what the OP is dealing with but to each their own. It uses electricity has to be on a timer and all that. Humidity dome is dirt cheap low matience and works just as well. Doesn’t need a timer or electricity and it’s rare to have a clone not root.

My homeade setup would cost ya 50 bucks to make
As a guy whos done this for 14 years ive spent more than 50 in replacing domes .
Electrical power for 5 -6 days till root big whoop
A sound system sucks more energy i think
Do what you like it your show man
But my cloner has lasted for years
Although ill say after 7 years the plastic on my 8$ tote lid cracked due to uv exposure so im out 8$ on that one
If i can take cuts and pop them in, in 10 min and not look at them again for 2 weeks+
Ill take my way all day every day cause when i got to work i cant be worried about my clones
Peace man go have a snickers while you check and spray your clones....buddy

Trust me the diy aero cloner I made for 50 bucks is the least of my money woes lol
I've used this in the past with great success. I decided to fuck around this time and that's what I get.. Small potatoes man. Just because somethings a bit more complicated doesn't mean it should never be used.
I could cut those clones and come back 4 days later to roots if I would have taken the time to get my ph in order ..
Some people like the old fashioned way. whatever works...... I'm set on expirementing to find the best methods and to learn all aspects of as many methods as I can... I'm not just growing as a hobby I have plans to enter the market for grow equipment or A. A. C. T brew and distribution. As well as bulk organic soil amendments and soils.
So while you may be happy sitting home spraying your clones .. I'm looking into what timers and automation I can work into my day to day. They may fail here and there but that's all part of the learning experience...
If your done learning, you should probably just shutdown your account and let the rest of us catchup

Who's using times on their cloner? Mine runs 24/7 and uses about as much electricity as a lamp.... and it doesn't get much easier than cut and plug. I don't doubt that your method may work excellent for you, but if a person has the funds I would suggest an aero cloner or ezcloner all day.

Like I said in my earlier post, why would EZclone themselves promote this method if it was going to decrease the success rate of their product?? Like @projectinfo said, we're all here to learn and improve our methods. You're just going to screw yourself if you think your methods can no longer be improved upon.. Not a single person on this site does it perfect, we've all got room for improvement. That's why we're here.
A word to the wise for the OP, listen to @Cold$moke. I spend a lot of time trying to help people on this site, and I see him around here every day. I have yet to see him steer someone down the wrong path.

Lol you are funny man first I said the spray was optional and second when I check my clones it’s to see if I have roots or not which you have to do with your clones as well. I’ve had the same hungry Dome for about six years and still works perfectly fine. I see roots in 5 or 6 days the same as you which is why I said the most I have to do it check them once a week “for roots” so I can transplant. I have a bubbler used it for quite awhile it was more work than this method I don’t have to PH anything like the OP was saying just tap water and clones stay healthy. Your method is more work from wht I’ve seen in this post if you enjoy it and like your results that’s great keep doing it but the OP seemed to be struggling with it which is why I said the method seemed overly complicated for what you are trying to achieve which is get healthy clones to root.

Lol ok man Hope your grow turns out well and goes smoother for you than it has so far. I’m sure you will get the method down and have no troubles soon enough I’m not trying to discourage anyone from trying to new things or learning, I was just giving my opinion based off my experience having used other systems of cloning like bubblers that the humidity dome is IMO less hassle, and less time consuming than a humidity dome is. it wasnt meant to be an argument like cold smoke wants to turn it into
