My wife and I applied for long term care insurance recently.

As part of the app process, they had a nurse call each of us seperately to go over our medical history; she also performed a type of cognitive abilities test.

Some of it was actually pretty challenging. Some questions were silly; like what is 75-32. But others were memory based, where they gave you a list of words and then did something else for a little bit and then asked you to list as many as you could remember. Or another was list every fruit you can think of.

We both got the insurance, but I doubt drumph would.......
