Do you guys think it still use 200 watts total or it could use more watts ?it look way stronger and read more lux on my phone .

Am I wrong in thinking 1 Cob per square foot ? Would rather drive more COB's softer than fewer harder for efficiency sake.
its not wrong at all, although 1 cob per square foot is on the upper end of what most people run. the citizen 1212s are an excellent choice at 1 per square foot, check out @DesertHydro 's grows for some great 1212 action

So let' just say 24 cobs over a 4x8 can u recommend what drivers to run? Also do you sell the chips your talking about?also do you give discounts on bigger orders.I would need 72 cobs and whatever drivers and heat sinks to run them
lotsa options on drivers

things to think about:
do you want to dim them onboard (out of the box) or do you need remote dimming (separate circuit, but simple)

do you want to power and dim the cobs all together or light up some bars differently than others

yes i sell everything and yes i do discounts, best to email me at sales@cobkits.com and we can get a dialogue going

Thats more like it haha. What driver is used in the fixture?
Did not change the 4 old drivers.
There are no name or number on them.

3500k 90cri ??
Yes, and going to get the 320H-54b instead of the 240, $20 more bucks well worth it i reckon

lol, another update, may aswell just get the 600H-54B. lol..

then Ill never need another driver. and if i step up the tent size, i just have to add more cobs and have the power available.

These are maxed at 110watts per/cob

This is what I came up with and wanted to know if you thought this was a good idea.i was looking at the QB's but can' find a heat sink configuration I liked so maybe I'll revisit it later down the road but I'm really leaning towards this setup.will be around 1400 watts over a 4x10 area and the cobs are covering every square foot will be 30 cobs per 4x10.I opted for the 1400s because I will eventually want to grow taller plants and feel like maybe I may need the better light penetration.
Again I don'
Know shit about them but if this looks like a good setup to u I can email you and you can give me a price on these parts would be great.

After researching more i dont think i can use the Luminus CXB with that driver at 5 cobs per driver.I would need the 480 driver.I can see why the CXB3590 are popular cause of the voltage range you can run them low.Its the only configuration i found where i can run 5 cobs on the 240H and give me around 700 watts per 4x5.This is what i am gathering from reading.

the 240h-c1400B maxes out at 179V and can only run 3 50V cobs. HLG-240H-54B would be a better choice to run 5 cobs, but in either case youre not getting 1400 mA x 50V x 15 cobs out of 3 hlg-240 drivers because that is 1050W of cobs which 3x 240W drivers cant provide.

After researching more i dont think i can use the Luminus CXB with that driver at 5 cobs per driver.
yup

I can see why the CXB3590 are popular cause of the voltage range you can run them low.
theyre not more popular because of their lower voltage theyre more popular because they are riding on their name recognition from years ago. cob voltage matters little in your overall design. a luminus at 1050mA is both brighter and cheaper than a cxb3590 at 1400 mA despite using similar overall wattage per cob.

Its the only configuration i found where i can run 5 cobs on the 240H and give me around 700 watts per 4x5.This is what i am gathering from reading.
it would give you 700W, but so would 5 luminus on a 240h-54B. same overall wattage, less current per cob due to higher voltage per cob

if youre really married to 36V cobs the citi 1216 is a good substitute for CXB3590
