As much fucking around with mag ballasts i've done, i'm not 100% positive, but you would think yes.
I've had ballasts that were loud as fuck and could never figure out why.

I remember the old Diamond Lighting. Lol. Werent they an offshoot of Applied Hydroponics/Hydrofarm? I had a couple Diamond ballasts and the funky shaped Diamond reflectors. Served me well. Many buds grown with those. I always wondered what happened to Diamond brand. They were one of the big 3 back then. Next to HydroFarm and a real early Sun Systems.
