I can't for the life of me figure out what is wrong with these clones they got moved yesterday because they were crowding each other. Then this morning not so happy. Is this beacause of over watering? Stress? Normal beacause they have not rooted? I have read some other post and got some info but Would like some feed back to my particular situation thanks.

they look dry...no roots to carry water so you need to do it for them...mist the clones and the top of the humidity dome and leave em alone..thats just my assumption...more info would be nice...how they were cut...rooting hormone used...how long they've been rooting...what types of lights are they under

They were cut about 6 days ago and i transfered them yesterday to speard them out. The rock wool is damp as far as i can tell. they just did this over night. there are no roots yet either.

Did you have those cuttings under a humidity dome? If not you may want to consider using one in the future, cuttings root best when the humidity is around 80-90%. Also, with the fan leaves you can cut them in half which reduces transpiration of the plant since the plants cannot take water from roots they do not have they take them via foliage. If you are exposing a non rooted plant in ambient room temperature the rate of loss of water far exceeds that of water retention.

Yep they are under a humidity dome. So they do look under watered then? SO mist the leaves then is what you are saying?

here you go....fold the huge fan leaves in half up the center of the leave....ALL OF THEM...and cut them in half...that will improve moisture retention in the plant...mist dome AND the clones themselves...how they were cut can also delay rooting...if it was left out too long between the initial cut and planting,or just the wrong angle cut can make cloning a serious pain in the ass

you need to mist your clones at least once a day and the dome , I mist mine when the dome is dry and when the jiffy pucks need to be watered I mist the dome and leafs

I use Root Scaritication , rootech and the 45 angel cut. I perfer gel over power , just find gel to work faster

Ya I did not do these cuts. But I hope they can recover with alittle TLC.
yea , I been using thoes cuts and my friend only use the 45 and my clones rooted faster and I have gotten 100% rooting and I have taken over 5000 clones in the first year of growing but then again I've been keeping alot of the clonesveg them , take clones off the tops and make it have more then 1 top the flower them

new growth is a good thing , I've had some clones take less then a week to root and some took almost a month using the same method I use. The ones that took longer started to have new growth and that's a good thing because that does meen that its not dead. I usaly have a inch of area that I used into the soil and found they root faster compared to the long ones my friend takes off his plants
