President Donald Trump blocked the public release yesterday of a classified House Democratic memo written in response to Republican claims that the FBI inappropriately spied on a Trump campaign adviser in 2016, prompting furious Democratic charges of hypocrisy and political exploitation of intelligence secrets.

The House of Representatives can still vote to release the memo despite Trump’s action, which could set the stage for a partisan brawl in the House next week over the document's fate.

Does that sack of shit think he can get away with this?

If the House votes to support his decision, and they probably will, all that vote yea should be hanged as traitors to this country and it's values.

i haven't even read the nunes scam memo..neither has The Pedo- too many pages..i heard it exonerates him.

It's about the most blatant case of obstruction I've ever seen: he cherry picks and releases one that makes him look good even in the face of all intelligence agencies expressing concerns about it, but then refuses to release the other that makes him look bad because it shows everything that happened because those same security agencies voiced the same concerns.

If it helps me I release it. If it hurts me I hide it.

If that doesn't pretty much prove his guilt beyond any doubt, then nothing will.

Definitely. He wrote the playbook for the 21st century right-populist. That playbook has been successful in the Philippines too which is probably the US' most important ally in Asia. It doesn't seem to be working so well for Trump though.

I guess we will see in 5 days if the GOP in the House has any balls left to stand up for basic Democracy, like the idea of freedom of information that they supported with the Nunes memo, or will they continue to lick Trump's little dick and kowtow to that madman.

Unless it's a tax cut for him...then make that fucker 12,000 pages long so nobody can figure out just exactly how many different ways they're getting screwed to subsidize the rich.
