New grower, indoor auto white widow ILGM MEGACROP

Hello all, first time grower here. I've found this new hobby to be quite fulfilling. I love seeing the changes every day. I've been a lurker on the forum gleaning information here and there, mostly from a member, CHAOSHUNTER's thread using MEGACROP.
To make it easy for myself, I dropped 5 white widow autoflower seeds from ILGM, into tap water for 24 hours....and nothing happened. Maybe I should have gently roughed up the seeds a bit before I dropped them, not sure. After the initial 24 hour water bath I put them in rapid rooter plugs, which, in turn, were placed into a seedling tray. I used a seedling germination kit that I found on the online retailer, including a small t5, 2 days later the husks poked out. One went crazy, growing rapidly with a long spindly stalk. Four in total seemed to survive and thrive, while the fifth seed seemed to drowned inside the plug. Admittedly, it seemed like the plugs were too saturated. I gently squeezed the excess water out of the plugs then planted the 4 seeds into 5 gallon fabric pots filled with cocotek mixed with perlite.
The feeding has been a bit of trial and error. I didn't read the cali magic bottle correctly. I initially started with .25 ml calmag in a 2 gallons watering can. I started giving thegirls 2 grams of MEGACROP in the same 2 gallon can, increasing as time goes on. I started to get weird leaf shapes so I gave them alternating .5 ml cal mag and ph water, and cal mag with 2 grams per gallon of MEGACROP. Then I started to get yellowing in the leaves, especially in the new growth, as the plants got a bit larger. I read that it could be calcium or magnesium deficiency, re-read the cali magic bottle, instantly realizing that I had not been giving them enough. Growing in coco seemed to exacerbate the issue, from what I've read. Increased the cali magic to 3 ml/gallon along with 4 grams of MEGACROP. The increase in cal mag seemed to fix the issue. I'm now at 5 weeks and 5 days from the time I put the seeds in water.
Additional growing info included the typical 4x4 grow tent the filter and inline fan. The grow light I used initially was advertised as 1500 watt led from the large online retailer. Used a heater with thermostat and an automatic humdifier. I'll post up pics.

5 weeks from seed, these were taken almost a week ago. I've since purchased a "1500 watt" king led from the large online retailer,to complement the other Chinese LED. I'm not sure if the wattage of any other pertinent info regarding the light. In any event, the plants seem to love it. Another note, I tried to lst with some flower display wire. The wire was difficult to maneuver within the plant and seemed to mark up or rub off some of the hairs on the stem. The plants ended up hulking out and ripping the wires out of the coco. I ended up with thin mason rope tying down the stems which seemed be gentle enough and works well.the green color flouresces under the purple light.

You should mix your perlite in not pour it on top. If you did mix it in, dont flood when you water, and the perlite will stay down in there. Plants looking good man.

Kind of hard to tell anything with the purple lights. Can you take pictures with normal lights? You probably don't need to add Cal/Mag yet. Mega Crop already had it in it. The only time you MAY need to add it is later in flowering.

Thanks, I initially mixed perlite in with the coco, I then put a layer on top of the coco. I've read that it deters pests. I don't think I put enough, as I water it just seems to mix in with the coco.

I'll take more photos tonight, I think the purple light made the yellowing, that I thought I saw, look worse than it actually was.

Included some pics under normal lighting, before and after second attempt at lst'ing. Also Before I upped the calmag.

2 days shy of 6 weeks from seed. This is the tallest plant I have. I've included some pictures of the yellowish or a lighter shade of green that started me, rightly or wrongly, thinking that I needed to increase the cal mag. I don't profess to know a whole lot about this sort of thing so any feedback would be appreciated.

They kind of look like you just hit them with alot of N. Clawed, turned down leaves at the edge. Did you think you had a deficiency and recently try and correct it? Or up your nutes?

I mix up 4 grams of MEGACROP in a Gallon of water ph it to between 5.8-6.0. I use the gallon to water the 4 plants. I water in the morning then again at night. I might have been aggressive with the nutrients or the feeding schedule. I don't think the plants are getting burned, should I change anything up.

As a new jack, you should probably start with photoperiod seeds. Regular or feminized, but photoperiod. Feminized, if you don’t plan to breed, and I assume you to don’t. But, photoperiods give you more control, better understanding, and bigger yields. Autoflowers are easy to fuck up. If you, in any way, disturb the growing process, you are taking energy away from flowering, and thus yield. Go photos.

They look a tad over on nutes but nothing crazy. Yes you can tone it down a little or do nutrients every other feeding. I always notice my new tip growth lightens up and changes leafe structurestr the beginning of flower. I'm not sure they're actually hungry for more as much as it's just a natural step in the transition
