what is best all round nutrient for hydro in clay balls

I’ve used and have veg+bloom and have mega crop. Mega crop is way less expensive and works much better. Oh did I say cheaper, 5lbs of veg+bloom=$100, 21lbs of mega crop=55 bucks plus has a mycorrhiza like great white in there too.

Megacrop is quite amazing. Smokes both jacks and maxibloom for me. It has a lot of great additions to the nutrients but It does not have any microbes. *edit* the amino acid chelated minerals is the big seller for me. I run all COB leds, and with jacks I had to add some magnesium to the mix. Megacrop, being amino acid chelated mag, and more available to the plants I need nothing.

thanks but i cannot buy megacrop in uk, shipping costs to uk are steep . so i need buy nutes off ebay uk
may i ask what is ( smokes and maxibloom you speak of )

I had never heard of mega crop before but i just ordered the free sample. I'll run it on a few girls see how they respond. Looks like good stuff and the price for 22lbs is great. Thanks!

I used VitaGrow with great success when I had a couple flood and drain tables going. It's inexpensive and that matters when you're changing out reservoirs. After using the big name brands for a couple of grows I got tired of dumping money down the drain. I even got better results using VitaGrow than the big names. Jacks is another good one and inexpensive as well.

ive been using greenleaf nutrients megacrop. Its working 100% perfectly. I use microbes in my rez instead of going sterile with much more success than when i was sterile. I've been trying out all sorts of microbe companies, so far the best seem to be OG biowar. I can see bigger healthier roots with their microbes.

can i ask , if adding these microbes do you get healthier stronger plants / bigger plants = bigger yields ?
why add microbes ...

There is only one type of VitaGrow. It's a three part nutrient. As far as Jacks goes I've never used it myself but know people that swear by it and have seen excellent grows by people using it. Jacks Classic is what they use.

Yeah man, I get a much healthier/larger root mass. I've not done like a side by side to see if that equate to bigger weight, but my yields keep going up so the things im doing seem to be working. I did do a side by side in my cloner, in one I used just the usual clonex and water, the other I added microbes. The one with clonex had simple fish bone roots, the ones with the microbes looked like a spiked club, every spot a root could pop out there was roots. Same mother ect. This was with OG biowar. I did use NPKs veg microbes the next time and it did nothing to my roots so, there is def a difference between at least some brands.

And then the same goes for my flood tables and flow n grow buckets, as soon as i switched from sterile to microbes my root mass exploded.

On the flip side there is down sides. Like just now I noticed I have like little white larvae in my rez. My tempts got too high so thats likely the culprit. I'm not seeing any adverse effects atm but still I need to flush the system with h202 to kill the larvae, clean the rez ect. This might not have happened if I had continued to be sterile. (edit) another down side is the cleanup after a run, I mean i wash everything anyway so its not a huge deal but with microbes I get a biofilm over all the buckets/lines that need to be scrubbed off.

It's the best you can feed them.

I was meaning megacrop works better than jacks and maxibloom. Smokes= slang for beats/is better than. Sorry about that. Id just get jacks then if you cant ship megacrop. assuming jacks is available. Maxibloom is a general hydroponics nute, you can use just that all the way through the plants life with similiar results to jacks. Jacks is a better setup though.
