4x4 with 630w CMH light?

Is 630w enough light for a 4x4 area in a 4x8 grow room? Or should I use 2 630w CMH lights.

Is anyone else using these CMH light with good results?

Maybe even too much. 315w CMHs are pretty awesome.

I would say about 16-20"

I too run 16 to 20", maybe a tad higher when plants are young and when I first put them into flower to induce more stretch. That's depending on the strain I am growing.

I Was thinking of putting a 600W in a 3x4.. after reading this I might reconsider.. it is 8ft in height so I could always put it a tad higher if needs be.. thoughts guys? Just quickly how many plants are yous growing in what space please?
