my bad for supporting thread hijackingSweet but shouldn’t you make your own post mate? Your light has nothing to do with my question lol
whatever thread is made doesnt belong in LED section anyway

I just flipped and will hopefully fill the whole space when doneeverything looks great but can you push em together and lose that space in the middle? just about every light throws down maximum ppf right underneath the bulb
Sorry budSweet but shouldn’t you make your own post mate? Your light has nothing to do with my question lol
at 10W/SF you''ll yield smokeable but loose, nonsellable productSorry bud
But isnt 600 w in a 8x8 efficient ?
This is what im testing nowat 10W/SF you''ll yield smokeable but loose, nonsellable product
Isn't that the only case where it does make sense? The only scenario where reflectors have a tiny benefit is when you want to increase the distance between COBs and plants.also using cobs with reflectors right next to boards makes zero sense in my mind
I agree for old school lightsFirst rule of good efficient yields: Never light the floor. I would go with the rearranging the stuff together in the middle idea.
For HPS it is
400W in 3x3
600W in 4x4
1000W in 5x5 or 6x4
yeah gavita reflectors kinda suck for most smaller applications. Boss or ACDE is much better coverageNot saying your numbers are wrong but real world applications not possible without high . ceilings and or ac if you dont give this ting some height it will bleach the shit outa plants lol
What was your yeild? So i know if im doing good with oneyeah gavita reflectors kinda suck for most smaller applications. Boss or ACDE is much better coverage
ive used 2 x 1000 DEs in a 5x9 tent and it worked great. good yields no bleaching. 36" off canopy
bulbs are pretty much the same reflectors are much differentim not sure how other brands stack up against the gavita
That is simply not true. Boards are basically a replacement for 4 COBs in a small rectangle. Which means you really need to hang boards higher to get properly uniform lighting. HLG advises to hang QB's at 18". That's twice as high as you'd generally hang a COB fixture. My observations: COB's focus higher lumens/watt in a smaller area needing to be farther away from canopy. PCB's focus a more distributed lumens/watt.
