These girls are looking good, sub'd. Grown this strain before a few times, she smokes quite nicely, most of the smell sees in when it's cured, good choice. I'll be starting a Blue Mystic journal in the next month out so along with Power Bud, Pepperjack Haze and Northern Lights. Looking forward to see how yours turns out!Grabbed a few shots of the bud development this morning before lights came on. Today is only day 18 of flower.

I kind of thought so too. These have been true 60-65 day finishers in the past. That being said they still have a ways to go so it's possible they have another 30 days to go. Here are three pictures to show Jan. 13th day of flip, Jan 28th day 15 flower, and Feb. 12 day 30 flower. Pretty good progression. Those are finishing fast
Damn nice job, I love hydro, way better than dirt, for lots of reasons, to those that say organic is better, it is easy to grow hydro organicly too, good job growingDay 37 flower. A few new pictures. Still at full strength nutrients and still drinking like crazy. The last picture shows the white widow plant in the back middle. It is three weeks behind the others.

I absolutely agree with you. I didn't use to defoliate very much at all because of the critics insisting you were taking away the plants energy reseves. This run I topped twice and did what I felt was a significant defoliation and boy were the results improved. Even canopy and lower budsites much more developed. I already feel more in tune with what they can handle and how they respond. This was a definite positive learning experience that I will build off of and fine tune in future grows. I prefer to stay out of the arguments and just present my results as information for others to use as guidance on what to do or not do depending on their interpretation. Thanks for the feedback! Question? Do you continue to defoliates in flower or do you finish defoliation right before the flip?Lookin' real solid man. Looks like you have a really gentle touch when it comes to giving the plants what they need. Everyone I've seen using Remo's nutrients have been really happy with the results.
I'm going to throw one critique in, because this is rollitup right? Do a little more defoliation next go-round to open up more light to the bud sites. It's a concept that I personally feel conflictions over, but in the end it's always served me right.
Don't let my critique stand in the way of saying very solid job. I see why your buddy has grown out this strain for as long as he has.
Definitely brother, I agree with just presenting the results. I've always done defoliation right before the flip and shortly after the flip. Everyone has their own theory, I just try to avoid taking too much off. I don't take off everything either, just what is blocking light from bud sights. Some people go complete bushwacker in their garden and I tend to cringe a bit. I don't like stressing the plants out too much if I don't need to. I've found that doing a little bit here and there helps avoid having to do one large defoliation at once which can be a bit stressful.I absolutely agree with you. Thanks again for your input! Next run I will defoliate a bit more to expose budsites before flip and then continue with trims to keep it open. If I would have done some of that from flip through week three it would have been much more open. But you live and learn. One thing is for sure....I am a definite believer in defoliation now. It actually seems like about 36-48 hours after defoliation the plants actually increase growth rates. It's one of those things you have to do yourself and see the results to completely buy in.Definitely brother, I agree with just presenting the results.
