whats the size of your grow space? How many plants? The CFM rating of the fan and fan type? Size and type of carbon scubber (brand name is helpful)? Pics would also be good.

well its just in a bathroom shower and no1 uses the bathroom so the door is clesed eccept when i go in and out. the bathroom is bretty small - the shower 5' by 3'. i dont know the brand of the carbon scrubber but it is an air purifier with carbon in the filter. does that homemade thing by videoman work better than a carbon scrubber????

give it a shot, couldn't hurt and videoman never led me astray. The issue you have is that your carbon scrubber probably doesn't have ENOUGH carbon in it. To really clean the air well you need a professional horticultural carbon filter (or a home-made version) that usually uses well over 2lb of carbon and requires a centrifugal fan. Thats not cheap so try videoman's system or prepare to spend a good bit of cash.

the ionic breeze is a waste of money, didn't even help my allergies let alone my plants and the cost... not worth it. 15lb of carbon? That should be enough lol. Since your not really controlling the ventilation in and out very well (I assume since it's a bathroom and thats not easy to do) it's going to be hard to keep the smell down. If you use distinct input and output vents with the filters attached it works better.

just get some incense and antiodor sprays they should kill the smell and neutralize it to come back and an another carbon filter it will double the power

ozone won't help with the smell, it is good on killing bugs and bacs but also kills to easy your babies. besides the fact that it is freakin expansive

hey, thanks for the heads up. what kind of douche (jorge cervantes) would use something like this anyway? 6" Big Blue In-Line UV Ozone Generator | Air Cleaners/Odor Control :finger:

lol....acid rain. you typed that as if you actually care. lol. show me how your lifestyle doesn't directly contradict your green ideas. :finger: OBVIOUSLY the cfl isn't for growing plants. what do you expect to pay for security? get a grip. ofcourse you do grow in a shower so, nevermind.

since you won't send it to me......
there is really only 1 way. seal EVERYTHING, have an intake vent, have an exhaust vent. then go spend A LOT of money on a charcoal canister. your exhaust runs through it before exiting the room. i find it impossible to believe something can 100% "scrub" the smell out of a room. it's stuck to the walls. did you know ALL smells are particulate? every time you open the door that much sq footage of stinky air goes out. it's pot it is supposed to stink. i think we all told you this from the get go. good luck, hope it all works out for you. peace.

I'm so glad I live in a hippie house and we like the smell circulating from the basement.

You could try buying 50-100 sticks of some incense from your local head shop (or other) and just let those sit in the same roome (# of sicks maybe more or less). The sticks I buy are strong and I often don't have to burn them to get the room smelling nice. I mean, whats the worst that can happen, you burn the incense?

Well you say you have a carbonnscrubber where are you venting the air to after its scrubbed not just back into the room are you? Also try some ona in the bucket with a fan to help cover and kill oder. You have the gap under the door sealed as smell will escape there.
