I'm allergic to them, too. But, I'm also allergic to walnut, oak, farina, wheat pollen, grass pollen, rye pollen.. shit, it's about two dozen airborne allergens, too many to list.

Anyway, I just don't pick them up if I'm feeling sneezy. Also, it really depends on the individual cat. Stinky, my husband's cat, is about as close to a dog as a cat can be. When we come home after a trip he runs out to the car to greet us with the dog. They wag their tails, he meows a lot.

Oh see I don't just get sneezy. My lungs swell and it becomes almost impossible to breath. They dont even have to come near me just the dander in the air is enough.

That does sound cute though.

Jesus, that's like my mom with shellfish. Just the smell shuts her respiratory system down. Epi pens go with her everywhere.

Jesus, this thread exploded!!!

I've been putting it off because the title "pitbulls" seemed stupid...

Then I saw how much attention it was getting, and gave it a look.

I agree with fdd, and most of the first 20 posts.

It's not nature that makes a dog mean, it's nurture. If you raise a dog to be a big wuss, that's what you'll get. If you hit your dog and show it aggression, that's what you'll get.

Pitbulls have a bad name because the people who own them. If you're in the market looking for a dog, and you think "pitbull." Obviously you have some issues. You want the most notoriously mean fighting dog.

All I see are wannabe gangsters with little pitbull pups, slapping them around and training them to be mean.

I have a Boxer that people fear because she's big, and scary... I guess. But I trained he to be a bit wuss, seriously, every little dog that picks a fight with her wins. She's been "beaten up" by a dachsound, a little shizhu, and multiple puppies.

She weighs 95# and gets whopped by little tiny runts. Mainly because I've never hit her, never been mean to her, and taught her never to bite anything. You have to teach the no-biting at their teething stage in order to get these results.

Whenever another dog comes at her she ducks and runs away, good dog. I also noticed a lot of dogs come at her, probably out of fear? Idk.

It's not the dog thats bad it's the owner.

I know some people who own Staffordshire terriors, but they were good owners, and nice dogs. I bet if I trianed my boxer to be mean from birth she'd be a mean motherfucker, but who wants to live and sleep in the same bed as that?

Oh yeah... Cats suck.:bigjoint:

Kinda figured my view would go along with the rest, might as well voice my opinion was my thought... Plus I didn't want to read 200 posts. :bigjoint:

-what have cats done to me?

Scratch, bite, hiss, generally hate me, they hated me first, so the feelings are mutual.

I just think they are stupid animals, they don't give a shit about you.

They sense your disliking of them... No lie.... I highly doubt the cats had anything against you at first.

You are just one of those typical cat haters... I've heard it all before. My cats love me... So idk what you're talkin bout. :)

Cats are great, they have such intense personalities. I have 3 and they are all completely different in they way they act and who they are.

I thought all men loved pussy? :bigjoint:
Well, in general they do. But you've forgotten about 2% of the population.

What gets me are the guys who have avatars of women who then go on to bash women. Err.. pussies.

I can take or leave cats, I let them tell me who they are (if that makes sense). Dogs, however.. there is something very primal about being out in the hills with a pack of dogs. I used to do a LOT of birdwatching, when I first got Old Missy Dawg (she was not old then). She was a VERY bad dog, bad dog! So my training began with exercise. A lot of it. For every mile I walked she'd run at least three, what with the going back and forth and sniffin' out squirrels and all that. I always had neighbors' dogs who'd join up with us as we headed into the hills, so I usually had three to four dogs not my own along with me. This was nice when I came across strangers, not very often, but it happened, especially when Charlie, a HUGE Chow mix, was with me.

They also came in handy when I came across people-ized coyotes in the middle of the day.

Should I start a Cats vs. Dogs thread, or has that been done recently?

I simply hate cats, they don't show affection, not in the way a dog does, they don't play with you, you can't take them for a walk in the park (if you do, I'll rip on you sooooo hard) they shit in a box, they have sharp dagger claws, and all cat owners have the tiny little scars to verify that they use them... It's my opinion that cats absolutely, positively suck balls.

Don't you know that cats, at one time, were our greatest enemy. As we evolved from apes in Africa, the lions, and leopards were our ultimate fear.

Befriending a cat is shaking hands with the enemy.:bigjoint:

Now what do dogs do that piss you off? Anything?

If I walk into a room I don't have an ill disposition towards the cat. I love the furry things. It's just they're moody, and physically I can't be around them too long. Only cats i've ever liked was my wifes cat (24lb norweigan something) and my bestfriends cat Jimmy (RIP) Just cause he was gangsta. I hate nothing. I just prefer dogs.

LMFAO@ It's my opinion that cats absolutely, positively suck balls.
Only thing my dog does to piss me off is he wont leave me alone. He's always in search of my affection. Which is great...it's just when i've just sat there and petted you for 15 minutes let me at least take my damn shoes off.

You should make that thread...im sure you'll get more dog lovers.
