I completely forgot to ask that. Are they in rockwool? Cause if they are, THAT is your problem.
So the rockwool is killing them?I completely forgot to ask that. Are they in rockwool? Cause if they are, THAT is your problem.
I agree . Turn off drip lines and hand water until roots begin to show out the bottom of netpotIt’s not drying out, it’s drowning lol.
That may even be to much, I was a two a day and turned it to 3 and started to get very slight tip blotching, back to two for a bit lol. It’s a bitch getting it right with the sponge we call rockwool, most of the issues at the seedling stage are due to over watering .they are drowning. can you put the top feed on a timer or just hand water 3-4 times per day?
What brand/size tote is that. I can’t find a low profile size tote like that that’s built like that. Most of the totes that I find are just too large (15 gal and up). Hdx totes are great but I have never seen a tote that looks like that. I’m thirsty for that tote ,..if you can’t tellBro they’re just flat out too small for the system right now. I run my seedlings in 3oz mouthwash cups with coco and fill it with roots then when it’s bigger, take it out, knock off excess coco, and bury the rootball in a net pot with hydroton. 3 days later, this.View attachment 4106821View attachment 4106822
I haven’t used rapid rooters but root riot cubes yes and they retain water as well. They are in rapid rooter cubes. I set up a timer and started to water 15 on then 30 min off. Here are some updates pics. Still no roots tho.
Haha it's sterilite brand stackable from Walmart. Sure you could find online. What brand/size tote is that. I can’t find a low profile size tote like that that’s built like that. Your stems are most likely rotted. You should have roots by now. They are in rapid rooter cubes. I set up a timer and started to water 15 on then 30 min off. Here are some updates pics. Still no roots tho.
I start at two floods a day until roots appear then increase.Dial back your feed pump intervals to like 15min every 6 hrs or so if you are stuck with a 15 min increment timer. Let those rooter plugs come up for some air, they're drowning. I'll bet you see root growth within a day or two.
