They're moth eggs- left to incubate they'll hatch into hundreds of caterpillars which can be very harmful

BT works great.

Bug zappers, if you are talking about the kind that lures bugs into the zapper using UV light kills a lot more beneficials than it does pests. I don't use them.

I find that BT and hand picking leaves with egg clusters work fine without the additional hardware.
