With all the science and the legal laws of weed why have we not come up with something (hormones) to block the male reproduction on female plants?

I would rather just grow good genetics that are not prone to hermaphroditism than try and manipulate bad genetics with hormones or chemicals.

While this is true im looking more at the science side of this. Could help if you girls get really stressed by accent. How hard would it be to block the male hormone?

You would probably want to look into ethephon. It's used to reverse sex on males. I don't know how it would work on a hermied plant. I know very little about it and there isn't much information about it. But even if it did work I personally wouldn't smoke any plant sprayed with it. I made a post about it in another thread a short time ago.

Unfortunately the freedom to research and learn doesn’t actually mean people will use it. The plant did come up with such a hormone though, it’s called ethephon and can be found in products such as ehtrel and florel.

But even if it did work I personally wouldn't smoke any plant sprayed with it.
Yet you have no problem eating and drinking many products that have been treated with it. All it does is convert to a higher amount of the hormone already in the plant. Ethepon is harmless.
