President Obama, our last legally elected president, couldn't even get a middle of the road SCOTUS appointment through the senate because they wouldn't even hold a hearing.

But he was single handedly supposed to stop wealth redistribution.

I hear what you're saying but the prez had to pull the economy out of the toilet and in the process the top 1% was able to capitalize on the real estate bubble bursting and benefit most from the stimulus packages. The alternative would have been a depression instead of recession which would have been good for nobody, but considerably worse for the lower/middle classes.

George W has to take most of the blame for the state of the economy when he left office and most of the massive tax cuts passed last year (even though the economy didn't need any boosting) will benefit that same 1%. Add in the spending package and those moves and consequences are going to be felt for years to come
