DWC plants showing leaf damage

Hey all!

So I've got two Autos in DWC that are showing some leaf damage that I originally attributed to pH fluctuations. But my pH has been stable for over 48 hours now and yet the browning is spreading to some of the upper leaves so now I'm not so sure. Its affecting both plants in separate reservoirs. Water is at 5.8 pH and 500pm. GH Flora trio and CaliMagic. Roots are nice and healthy looking. RH has been pretty low, hovering around 25% at 75* F. Also had my 315 CMH at 75% until yesterday when i was advised it didnt provide full spectrum at less than 100%. Any suggestions (including ones that imply I'm just impatient) are greatly appreciated!

I want to top the bigger plant but am afraid to do so before she looks fully healthy.

Oh, and I've gone through the plant trouble shooting guides online 20 times since last night, but nothing outside of pH imbalance seems to fit the bill to me.

Roots look great. Nice and white and growing everyday.

A week ago. It's a newer Hanna pen.

Tap water. Comes out at 90-100 ppm, always let it sit for 24 hours before adding to reservoir. It's never been a problem before but it is municipal water.

Hmm.. as in city water? I would switch to distilled or reverse osmosis water.. if you use r.o. you need to supplement with cal/mag.. it probably wouldn't hurt to use some cal/mag now or even alittle Epsom

Yeah, city water. They are getting CaliMagic already. I may have to grab some distilled water. Would just be a bummer to have to buy it the whole grow when my tents are next to running water. Maybe I'll try upping the Cal/mag first and see how they respond. This is a test run with freebie seeds so I'm not gonna get too upset if things don't turn out perfect.

I feel like it might be CalMag Toxicity - Too much Calmag. (I could be wrong.)

City Water is most likely not the sole culprit of your problem.

Was your medium thoroughly rinsed prior to use?

Yeah, using clay pebbles. Rinsed, soaked and rinsed again. Still wound up with some smegma in the bottom of the res though. Kinda hate these things.

I'm going to do a full res change today and see how they respond. I really can't tell if it's a deficiency or toxicity so I'm just gonna have to start experimenting.
