having a high i.q. doesn't make you nice, it does not mean you have any empathy, nor does it make you an expert at anything.
putting in the time to learn a subject, having experience in that subject, solving problems in that subject...that makes you an expert.
i don't see a lot of people on this site putting in the time to become experts at much of anything, except being trolls and assholes.
i see "intelligent" people forming opinions with little to no information, then calling other people stupid when they form contrary opinions with the same information.
and i see some people who never contribute anything useful, who do nothing but harass and annoy, who do their level best to be offensive, and they achieve that goal, even if they've never achieved another in their entire lives.
