Yepp, that works! As I said before, all these examples work!Hi diyled. I bought the ELG-240-48A.
So, I'd wire as follows, minus the potentiometer?
Cheers.

Hi diyled,Yes you can use double sided thermal tape to fix them to the aluminium U profile. Then a couple of bits of L profile to attach them too.
It involves a bit of diy but for your budget thats the best option really.
Check out this site its got a guide for everything. http://ledgardener.com/diy-guides/

I like to drill at fix a few rivets anyway.Hi diyled,
So, are you sure the thermal tape will do the job, or would you recommend I drill and thread and screw in too? Cheers !!
Thanks. My thoughts too. I was thinking just two diagonally at the ends.I like to drill at fix a few rivets anyway.
The Vo pot at max will be 48v so just leave that on max. io is just your current dimmer.Hi guys. I should have my diy led build completed by the end of the weekend.
Thanks again for all your help and support. I've wanted to build a decent led system for a while so I'm very excited.
I'm just wondering if I could accidentally damage the leds or light system in general if I incorrectly adjust the Io/Vo adj buttons on the ELG-240-48A ? The driver is also within the 10-15cm distance of the led strips (specification note on user manual). Is this an issue? There's also no Earth cable on the driver. Do I need to connect the AC Earth to the system somewhere?
Many thanks !!
Perfect !! Cheers pal.The Vo pot at max will be 48v so just leave that on max. io is just your current dimmer.
I mount the drivers directly ontop of the heatsink 1" from the led with no problems.
Yes the elg drivers need earthing.
Build to date. Just wiring now.Perfect !! Cheers pal.
So, during cultivation, would you recommend I dim the current, when the plants are seedlings, and fairly young? my current Chinese led box is fixed, but it's not powerful enough to bleach the leaves. I also need to figure out optimum light distances.
So, I've managed to build a 200w diy led system for only about £150 plus aluminium frame/heatsink. A bit of cable tidying to do, but it's as sweet as a nut. The lights are much brighter than the image shows, and very evenly spaced.
Many thanks to everyone, especially diyled and randomblame. I simply could not have started this, since the cob heatsinks are so expensive. This is a cracking system for the price, and I'll post the details asap !!
5 days left for my C99 x Blueberry, so perfect timing.
Happy growing.

I thought a new post randomblame. It worked almost too well. I even threaded 10 holes, lol. The only concern is local authorities tracking people's locations via posts. Hope the newsgroup scramble the data.Yeah! Then it fits exactly!
Are you starting a new thread with the new girls or are you continuing here?
Bit late to be twitchy now, I guess !!I thought a new post randomblame. It worked almost too well. I even threaded 10 holes, lol. The only concern is local authorities tracking people's locations via posts. Hope the newsgroup scramble the data.
Cheers pal. I may need to delete then? Saying that, if I'm the priority for our law and order officials, they must have a massive budget !!LOL! Maybe..
Tracking is a real problem but there are ways to stay anonymously.
