ModuLED Mega 13450-B-HBG, tapped for that driver, plus the connector set and they simply screw together.I wanna tty to.make my own 3590 single cob leds, Can somebody tell me what is best heatsink (who will keep em.coolest) for HBG-60-1400 driver..
Is that the best? I bought from ebay same lights but with that big round one heatsink (what people use for framed diy,) and it gets pretty warm..ModuLED Mega 13450-B-HBG, tapped for that driver, plus the connector set and they simply screw together.
You could go up to a 134100 if you want.Is that the best? I bought from ebay same lights but with that big round one heatsink (what people use for framed diy,) and it gets pretty warm..
You can touch it / hold it without burning your self, like with some old cellphones who got really warm after heavy usage . I have 2 200w diy rigs with active coolers, but I wanna sold them And make me single autocobsWhat is your idea of pretty warm?
I'd slap the biggest pin heatsink on I can find.
Actives are nice until something goes wrong with the fan.

That is fine, it won't harm the COBs. Remember the better the heatsinking works the quicker the room heats up.You can touch it / hold it without burning your self, like with some old cellphones who got really warm after heavy usage . I get what are u saxing ,But my goal.is minimum space heating, lime my current 360w 2diy rigs heat up my tent 5c.. Before it was 7c..I had to dimm it down. So big question is whats the optimal led wattage for 1m2 tent so that in wont raise temp. too much..No more than 3c..That is fine, it won't harm the COBs. Remember the better the heatsinking works the quicker the room heats up.
There is a nice video on the tube of a guy testing a load on a pin heatsink and on some ordinary heatsinks, even with fans, they could not keep up with the pin sinks.
As long as the heatsinks are not warm enough to injure you, they are good.
Let's say your heatsink works super well and feels cold to the touch.... Where do you think the heat went?
1m^2 (squared) or 1.2 meters?I get it..but I'm still interested what is optimal cob wattage for 1m2tent
yeah if you put tent outside in the middle of winter.. I had 400w of cobs in 100x100x200cm tent and it raised temp by 7c.. It was hrror show trying to keep my tent temps in normal rangesomewhere between 480 and 640W depending on what you do
It means square meter/s..Its 100x100x200cm tent..1m^2 (squared) or 1.2 meters?
You want to aim for 30-40 watts per square foot. I think 35 is a great place to be at.
In a 1x1m tent, that would be about 300-350 watts. In a 1.2x1.2m tent, that's about 420-475 watts.
And why COBs instead of strips? A samsung LT564B strip costs like $26 US and the heatsink would cost 3-7$ depending on what you used. So $29-33 for up to 100 watts, in a package that's much more spread out than a single COB. Which has lots of benefits. A $47 44" double row samsung strip with a $10 heatsink (so about $57) can give you up to 200 watts. And the efficiency will be higher.
This is damn right...Yeah man, the thing is, and I know it is hard to get everything we need to grow good indoor weed on a tight budget, but you HAVE to start out with climate CONTROL.
Otherwise, you are adjusting the way you have to do stuff, from season to season, throughout the year.
