Hey, this might surprise you, but I'm pretty well armed.
I like hunting, going to shooting ranges, trap shooting, and I'm a Liberal.

Doesn't surprise me at all. I know quite a few Liberals with guns who hunt and shoot target/trap. However, they are Classical Liberals who don't buy into the ultra-left group-think and have no intention of turning their guns on Conservatives simply due to a different opinion on a few issues.
