Just let the pickle jars soak in bleach ,dish soap and hot water for a hour. Then rinse really well and air dry. you'll be good to go.

im using 2 2 gallon pickle jars because i couldnt find anything else aorund here that had ANY sort of size that was glass and airtight for under 20 bucks a pop, fuck that, and my lids still smell just a little, but everytime i open it for cure, all i can smell is DANK WEED, not pickly weed, so i dont worry, (i already put baking sosda and water and let it sit outside, thanks to my mom cause she knows all them tricks, and it went from the most disgusting pickle smell to something i have to hold a cm to my nose to smell. I got those 2, and then i got a PB bear jar full, and then 10 snap on mason lids all full curing, right beside my bed

bleach it out, then rinse real well. Then, put a cut up apple inside for 24 hours, then add the bud. Apple makes it taste better and removes that last little pickle bleach taste.
