OK, i went on a 3 mile hike to check and possibly harvest my Afgani x WhiteBerry hybrid patch... and the deer have been using my patch for a bedding spot... everything was eaten except for 1/2oz. And it was the best quality shit i have ever harvested... there were half eaten buds laying in the grass... It made me sick. I had alot riding on that patch! But anyway life goes on...

Anyone know of a sure fire way of keeping deer out of your patch? Im thinking about bear traps... :fire:

Puma or other wild cat piss. It is sold, look it up. The scent keeps them away and it is organic. It is sold to keep deer etc away from sensitive areas like race tracks. They use it at Sears Point in Sonoma, CA. I used to race there. Seriously. I have also heard pureed hot chili mixed with water and sprayed on the plant keeps them and bugs from eating it, also organic.

Wow, that hurts! If you got a dog, brush it and save the hair. Spread it around the patch. If you don't, go to one of those groomer places and get a garbage bag full to spread. Also, cat litter box shit works. Deer don't know the difference between house cat and big kitty, they just know it's feline. This only works if you have mountain lions in your area though. Dog hair works for the coyote thing.

Dumbass deer. Marijuana's pugent smell is supposed to keep animals from eating it, like a built in defense mechanism. I guess it doesn't always work! I also bet those particular deer NEVER eat a marijuana plant again, lol. They probably got fucked up!!

Seriously though sorry to hear about your buds. They make all types of repellants. This on works pretty well. It's called Deer Out. You spray it directly on plants, though I would not spray it on my buds directly. You can spray it on the brush and foilage around you patch.
Deer Repellent, Rabbit Repellent - Deer Out

Some homemade remedies I have heard of: Urinating around the area, people claim good results from this. Purchasing Coyote urine at your local hunting/sporting good store and putting it out around your garden, I've heard yields excellent results. There are tons of plants that are supposed to keep them away but as you know now, if they are hungry they'll eat anything. Good luck!

just dig a moat around your plants and fill the moat with panther piss and flower cat fur on the panther piss and than spray hot chili spray on your plant and than piss all around the moat and put fishing line all across the top of your plant to keep away pterodactyls.

x2... had issues with animals eating my crops, pissed in a jar and than let it roast out in the sun for a while before spreading it out around the garden and from that day on I never had any more animal issues.
