Hey guys I'm gonna be getting a white cabinet it's 22 inches wide X 21 across 47 inches tall. I mainly wanna use it for veg any ideas, for how I could set it up. Looking for cheap not to much $ love little projects. Also I have a batwing style light that is 1000 watts I wanna gut out and rewire it to run cfls. I'll post a picture let me know if that will work

In a small cabinet like that, LEDs are really your best option. CFLs get hot and it's difficult to maintain a good temp. For that space, a pair of photon fantom boards at 50w/ec or maybe even just 2 COBs like cxb3070's would do quite well.

There's a guy selling led strips with drivers on eBay for a great price, and you get X5 strips/drivers. Search for export-estonia and look for TCI strips. I had a similar space that only needed about 3 strips to fully illuminate. Stick all 5 in and you're laughing with a couple of 120mm pc case fans.
The strips will need some aluminium to help maintain temps, but they don't really require a full heatsink as such.

Agree heat is major issue so LED best but you still need air movement. Intake low, exhaust high. Carbon filter on exhaust if odor is an issue.

Passive intake somewhere at the bottom and exhaust out the top. Plumb with some toilet ptraps 180 degree bends keep light out.
