Am I waiting for the stems to snap? coz my buds are starting to feel pretty dry... I’m curious to see if I break it all down and into a jar with hygrometer and boveda pack... might wait another day or so, my tester bud has been curing in 63% for 5 days, smells very nice

If it feels almost dry bag it up and let it sweat for 24 hours then put it back out to finish off.
I’d let it cure for 3 or 4 weeks before adding the Bovedas, you need to burp the jars everyday for the first few weeks so there’s no need to have them in there they are only needed for storage in most cases

Sweet I’m gonna break it down now then... anything over 70% would be too wet to be burped?

Don’t break it down too much till it’s properly dry,I use the stems a bit like a Boveda to buffer the humidity a bit. You only need to crack the lid off the jar for a second or two but if you miss a day here or there it’s not a drama so if you think it’s a bit too humid don’t burp them that day.

I go by a rule of thumb that I get that crunch sound but there is still that stringy green shit that won't break cos it' still held together then in the jar I go
Some ppl need to use different range bovedas depending in where they live
I.used to use 69 now I think.its 64 I use and it' even better

You just have to figure drying and curing out as you go, what works best for me in my area won’t be the best way to do it in yours the main thing is to learn WHEN it’s dry enough to start to cure it too moist and it can ferment or mould too dry and it won’t have as much flavour and won’t store well. The only way to really work it out is by doing it
