Why subcool left RIU?

Compared to lots of today's seed makers, Subcool is a regular Gregor Mendel. TGA's menu has slowly evolved over the years, only adding a few strains a year. Look at how many of today's extremely popular seed makers regularly drop a dozen or more crosses, all elites chucked with the same male, with zero pictures or descriptions because they likely haven't even been tested, for $100-$200!! By the time you figure out if a pack is worth your time and money it's long gone and will never be made again. Or worse, the breeder discovers the packs are hermies and instead of destroying them just sits on them for a year or so until people forget then suddenly drops them at a good price (JAWS trashed his reputation with that move, caveat emptor!)

That's why I think he could come back and not have to suffer too much flaming. There are so many objectively worse chuckers out there now.

He is all over instagram and his new site. He has a forum now he is working on so I don't see him hanging

setting up a forum is easy, getting people to use it is much harder

You're probably right, he only wants to promote his new seed company and doesn't actually want to participate in any type of discussion. I mean, what could he possibly learn here, from us?
