Sticking a chopstick through stalk during last 2 dark days of flower

Since im new to growing i have scowered yourtube/ rollitup, for info. Came across a guy who says that sticking something like a chopstick / toothpicks the the middle of a stalk during the last days of flower when you are keeping the plant in darkness helped spark resin production.

I have a small bluedream plant that was a FIM experiment.. Giving it a try since if it f's it up i don't really care.

Will reply back if i notice anything positive.

most ways to "stress" a plant will either slow down growth, or cause herming. the only real thing i've ever found to stress a plant to grow more trichs is uv light. and you have to be careful with that, too much will burn your plants, and it's not good for your eyes. i have two small cfl reptile lights in my tent, one in each corner, that stay on all the time, since they're so small. i rotate my plants one spot every other day, and give them a half turn on the day in between.

As far as i have learned, leaving the plant in darkness for a few days before harvest stresses the plant and thus the plant releases more resin, so yes, putting something foreign into the stalk that induces stress during this period does make some sense to me and is worth a try on a plant that i dont care about.

My reality is not limited and never stays stagnant . This is how i have become one of the top traders ...

then i will throw it out when it doesn't work.. is keeping the plant in the dark prior to harvest hippi mumobojumbo to in your opinion?

i use a nail gun and blast about 50 to 60 roofing nails in my stalks. lol

well, lesson learned. pulling the plant in 2 days .... just had to try it.. I know you cannot be surprised due to my curing post!

thank you for the luck with trading but fortunately on that front i need none. Been trading since '86. Only need luck with growing ! speaking of markets time to exit any FANG longs. The Fed has spoken!

get the pure UV T5 bulb from HTG supply. and use it for maybe 15 minutes a couple times of day. turn off when you go near it.

I prefer to run small diameter tubing into the stalks. That way I can pump molasses, amino acids, vitamins, and a bunch of those additives with fancy labels directly into the plant. Then when I harvest I pull the plant and boil the roots to force all those good things right into the buds.

Seriously. Sticking a chopstick through the stalk isn't going to do anything.
