Eh what do ya think? These Stax look fucking sweet and the idea of get it now .. pay as you go.. but a bong company having my bank account info ... I dont know... I guess I have ordered seeds with a CC before.. and have done this kind of transaction with RC cars.... anyone have experience with this?

That is a good point I complain to my kids about all their brand name sht being so expensive.... maybe I should take some of my own preaching huh lol the thing that DOES make stax unique is that it is modular... can get like 8 different parts that all go together in different combos.....but now I am leaning towards a pen option hmmmmm but I think I will still pick up some cheap glass from this place too.

Any opinion of PAX 3 vs V2 series 7 vs megatoke xl or the like? lol hey a thread that is actually MINE that I am de railing for once!

Another thing to consider, and this is at least true for me, but what I want might not actually be what I *want*. I have pined and sought after certain pieces for a long while, only for them to sit on the shelf while I use another random buy piece 10 times more often, because it just ended up working better for me. I wanted an egg forever, and went and got a pretty decent one. Its now probably my least used water piece, my little 15 dollar banger hanger is my daily driver. For whatever reason it just delivers.

The stax is pretty cool, but I am hyper critical of advertising, gimmicks, all that kind of stuff, and it just seems a little too "flashy" or whatever for me. I just love that popularglass site because it has a ton of super affordable options that would otherwise be going for 200-300 at a head shop. I'd hate for some kid to blow their entire paycheck on one when they can get quality glass for a fraction of the price.

as far as pens go, I have gotten a few different yocan pens, and I really like them. I have the evolve+ and magneto. I think I like the magneto a bit more as its super convenient and easy, but I'm an ironworker and constantly have metal shavings in my pockets, which then get stuck all over the mouthpiece. SO I just gotta be careful when I'm wearing work clothes. otherwise its a great pen for the price, and i got the extra 5 pack of coils, now i got one on my evolve+ too.

yeah i very much get what you mean on this, and have done it a ton in the past. Think I will pass on the stax for now and get something more simple. Thanks for the pen input as well!

Hah I didnt notice it until my wife called me out on it. Yeah no problem! I strive to pay the least for the highest quality I can, and I think the yocan falls into that category.

oh I was looking at that one too, looks awesome. Keep er' clean! If you dont have one, you should pick up one of these, https://dankstop.com/products/grav-labs-14mm-18mm-j-hook-adapter they are nice to turn an ashcatcher, like the one that comes with yours, into its own smaller bowl. I'm not recommending that exact one, it was just the first one on google, and probably is actually better than the one I have. and if you do, bam, you just spent 60 dollars on a waterpipe, ashcatcher, and bubbler. BOOM! hope you saved a whole bunch of cash. Go treat your ol' lady or whomever to some pizza!

well my order status says "delivered" lol needless to say it has NOT been as it has only been 2 days.. so far cant track it either... guess I will wait and see

Yeah it looks like there is a tracking number but nothing comes up yet. I will give it over the weekend and see if anything changes. Looks like it is coming from China and that can take a while and tracking is not always accurate from over seas. I have had sht I swore i was never going to get based on what the tracking says the seller keeps telling me just hold out and low and be hold it shows. I have even had one thing from China (a nice loop a love now) show up I think 3 months after I had given up on it lol

Oh yeah. that guy is StevenZ on dhgate, and this is his "american" site. It ships a lot faster than most china shit, but its still from china. I'd say you can expect it within 2-3 weeks. Its usually pretty quick.

I ordered a piece through his dhgate store and another guys store on my birthday, and his piece showed up like 2 weeks later, the other guy 2 months later. lol
