The bible is really very simple. The only laws are no lying, cheating or stealing. How people can make it more complicated than that is always very suspect to be self serving.

It seems to me that those who still follow bible can’t handle their own moral compass.

Hypocritical for sure. In my wanderings I've found that more than half of religious folk practice "the word" and just want to be left alone to do so...that other minority though use it for control.

All this outrage about Trumper’s suggesting the bible justifies vile and indecent behavior is weird.
For once, they are right. It doesn’t literally say it’s ok to separate children from parents but if ripping them from their mother’s womb and smashing their heads against rocks and all of the other vile stuff in the bible is ok, then separating children from parents is just being a moderate Christian.
