Fat tire was my first experience with a beer I drank for its flavor and not its effect.New Belgium and O'Dell's
Sierra Nevada Pale Ale is a classic I thoroughly enjoy while fly fishing on the Cache la Poudre River and elsewhere in this great state.Fat tire was my first experience with a beer I drank for its flavor and not its effect.
Not my first microbrew, because Sierra Nevada is nearish my hometown so that came first.
Now I live between a million microbreweries, so beer o'clock is very good up here.
Where.. just quote it or retype it shouldnt be too much effort for ya. Pretty sure it hasent been since i asked for the breakdown. It's been covered above.
I think its realistic if growing outdoors.Where.. just quote it or retype it shouldnt be too much effort for ya. Pretty sure it hasent been since i asked for the breakdown.
nope, here they're all about wine and moonshine, there are at least a dozen wineries in the immediate area, and close to that many moonshine distilleries. You obviously don't have much in the way of microbreweries around you. My city is loaded with them, up to and including New Belgium and O'Dell's, both too big to be called 'microbreweries' anymore...
There are stouts made here that you can't see a DE lamp through!
A guy near me here got 5 pounds of some damned good Mendo Purp buds from Oregon. $150 ounce here is not bad and he's almost out. Shipping it from Oregon to Alaska. It's cheap down there. Here $10 grams are a bargain retail but getting better.
Saw another sign a quarter mile down the road for $4 grams as well. This is the glut we have in Oregon. Billboards on the sidewalk advertising cheap weed. Most of it is really good.
Alaska legalized recreational use didn't they? How many plants can your grow there?A guy near me here got 5 pounds of some damned good Mendo Purp buds from Oregon. $150 ounce here is not bad and he's almost out. Shipping it from Oregon to Alaska. 6 per person with no more than 3 in flower. Maximum 12 per household regardless of how many adults live there.Alaska legalized recreational use didn't they? How many plants can your grow there?

Ty for gettin the dialog started. In cases like yours where theres no power bill i can almost see it. But the claim as i understand it, is that people will be selling it for .25 a gram for indoor bud, and any decent grower should be able to do it.i don't pay for the electric here, ( part of my pay for being apartment manager) so i honestly couldn't tell you. i have a kil-a-watt meter, checked everything out a couple of years ago, no idea if they've changed the rates since i asked my boss about it last....don't want to remind him how much he pays me....
i pay maybe 200-250 a year on nutes, cal-mag, h202, ph up and down...i get paid 11.00 an hour cash.....i spend....maybe an hour a day if you average it out per week, tending the back 420. about 3 years ago...? my electric bill was averaging 80 dollars a month, but i've changed a lot of equipment out, i wouldn't be surprised if i was up to 120-130 a month, average.....you do the math, i've confused myself....
but one thing none of you seem to be considering, since we're counting ephemeral things, like time....how much do you save on buying weed? i know i would be spending a MINIMUM of 300 a month, probly more like 400. 400 a month times 12 is 4,800 a year i'm not spending on weed....i figure that at least cancels out my "time", especially since i enjoy everything but the trimming
i trust your math, but i would have to move to do that, i'd have to about double my production, and i just do not have room to do that in the tiny house i live in. and i just wouldn't sell it to anyone that cheap, fuck em. i'll grow for myself, so i never have to buy it. maybe i'll get into concentrates, if the price doesn't crash for those as well. or maybe i'll just open a hydro shop and show people how to grow good weed on premisesTy for gettin the dialog started. So to me that excludes special cases where they arnt paying for power.
115 a lb just doesnt make sence to me how anyone could get by selling it for that.
Now if we are simply talking about cost to grow, i can see it. I can probably grow a lb for 115 in costs without too much problem, since i already have my equipment, i reuse my soil, and ive found great nutrients that dont cost much at all. Leaving my main cost about $30 a month in power. So around 115 counting my veg plus flower power bill.
1$ a gram i can see being the for sale price and the person getting by, assuming they grow 4 lbs a month every month. Take out 400 for power per month leaves a lil over 1k for rent an other bills. Just barely able to scrap by, but doable for most average growers willing to go that big.
Including edibles, I go through at least one ounce per week.i don't pay for the electric here, ( part of my pay for being apartment manager) so i honestly couldn't tell you. i have a kil-a-watt meter, checked everything out a couple of years ago, no idea if they've changed the rates since i asked my boss about it last....don't want to remind him how much he pays me....

Don't waste your time drinking all that mediocre beer from around the world. The best beer comes from the Pacific Northwest. I drank through the micro brew phenomena that hit Portland in the eighties. It's still going on. And I'm still drinking. One thing we're not lacking here is good weed and good beer. There are some great beers being produced all over Oregon. IPA's being really good. If you haven't already try some Ninkasi, 10 Barrel, Laurelwood, Deschutes, or Full Sail.there's a place in Fargo called Happy Harry's Bottle Barn, like Sam's club for booze, they have a whole row of coolers full of singles from all over the world, when i lived there i was trying to work my way around the world. i'd gotten to the middle east when i moved, and unfortunately, there's no where close to me with even 1/3 of the selection they had, so my trip sort of stalled out
Wow ... Look at that shit . Vegas had " tourist " grams at $8 and $10 at a particular dispensary when I " visited " . Here in Cali , it's still struggling to become more uniform as licensing and vetting is mucking shit up. House Shake is about $20-25 bucks for 1/4 .
