A friend started some seedlings in Hyponex but didn't have very good luck because the nutes in the mix depleted very quickly.
He added some Espoma Garden Tone fert. to it on the next batch and had much better results.
You could try that? FFOF is good soil, but way over priced in my opinion. I think you can do just as well with a less expensive
soil mix.

So if I use the hyponex I'd just have to add nutes sooner than with ff?
I'm using the ff basic trio

i actually use vigoro peat mix and perlite. works great, and about 1/4 the price of promix. the only advantage promix has is the mycos they add, and half the time the shippers and the stores allow it to dry out, so by the time you get it, it no longer has any mycos in it.
I have become a regular user if X-Treme Gardening Mykos. Cheaper than Great White. Just follow the instructions. Periodic applications keep a healthy population. Incredible roots!!

Last time I used FF was 2014..
I phased it out completely last year. I'm actually using the giant mountain I've accumulated over the years to learn mixing/reusing my own soils. I got great results on some testers last year....but I won't be comfortable committing to it for a few more years. The only FF product I use is Big Bloom and I use their seed starter in my seedling mix.

Sorry to butt in, but do you guys know what the issue could be on my plant??
looks like you're overfeeding N slightly. some kelp meal or extract might help. it's high in micro-nutrients without being too hot, it's usually something like 1-0-4, or 1-1-5, use it in place of your regular nutes for a week, let them burn up some of the N they're already chewing on, and make sure they are getting all their micros

Awesome thanks for the advice.
Coming from you guys i take it to the bank.
Things are rhaving to be rushed
Like my journal says I'm trying to do too much.

So seems the perlite is a necessity
Can't find it local gonna throw some cash on a card and order some.
I need something cheap and basically Wal-Mart accessible to put cyclones in.
I'm having to rush
Next year I plan on hqving all the necessary things bought and stored to make my own organic soil like you pros do.
But my situation is
I have lots of lights a plant in flower that I took a cutting from put into 12 12
She showed pistols today
So tonight I'm going to be taking ally of cuttings to try to fill the spa e i have available for flowering.
But all I have for aeration would be the pea pebbles.
Could I mix then in? Or would the just all sink too the bottom from repeated watering?
As of now
The cuttings will be going into peat pellets tonight so i hqve a few days to figure out the soil issue.
Gonna check on the super soil stuff.
Thanks again for the help
