Ok I see thanks for the heads upDon't feel bad if reading trichs is a pain
It is for me.
I make sure the buds look ripe and feel ripe as well not just trichs.
We get people all the time claiming the trichs are cloudy/amber then when pressed for bud pics they aren't even close to ready.
The little fuckers also absorb or reflect light making it hard to tell if cloudy or just cam flash etc..
And plants don't ripen perfectly all at once
After a few runs you will struggle less with harvest window if you run the same varieties.
So In a nutshell, when you've done this for a long time you can just look at a plant and tell when it's ripe.Ok I see thanks for the heads up
I give him credit; he has gotten much better with his punctuation as the thread progressed. I still struggle reading some posts but it is still progress, if you aren't sure read the first few pages again. I do give him an A for effort he could have just kept on going without punctuation, instead he started adding some and I for one appreciate that. I mean I ain't no maff teacher but I knows me nubers.I'd turn on my translating app if I knew what language to select.
Wtf does that even mean. I need you to do everything better if you wanna post in my thread.fr yall got my thread cracking but i will but lil palmy going to a friens if it start growing lbvs
That's not just fine.got another clone thats doing just fine beside the leaves poking straight up
He's lying balck paint and semen reflect best.Always wondered which was better. thought foil reflects more but knew white reflects all light
I use a loop and a pocket microscope. I got the microscope for less than ten bucks.Go buy a Jewelers loupe. They are cheap as hell and it'll last a lifetime
Thats funny,So In a nutshell, when you've done this for a long time you can just look at a plant and tell when it's ripe.
I can't remember the last time I checked trichs. And I'm always on point bruh.
If you own a really cheap phone and plan on using it with your phone make sure it is compatable and there is a program available.I use a loop and a pocket microscope. I got the microscope for less than ten bucks.
I have been thinking about getting one of those USB microscope.
Well I’ve also been running the same clones for a while. Whenever I do add new strains I check them with my 60x microscope.Thats funny,
I always use the scope but in the end just shake my head and go with my gut.

I bought the cheap chinese scope and it don't work on my phone or tablet.
Laptop runs though.
There is something called on the go
I dont know.
Just that I need a better phone. Lol
I want a real microscope badWell I’ve also been running the same clones for a while. Whenever I do add new strains I check them with my 60x microscope.
I’ll do a seed run, take a clone, and if it sucks I’ll never run it again.
But I have a go to right now that I hope to never let go. It’s a good’n
Is that poop on your nose? Lol jkOk I see thanks for the heads up
Hot spots just refers to uneven light distribution because foil crinkles unevenly, which deflect light unevenly. Textured metal reflectors on the other hand have a even pattern which reflects light well. Flat white paint creates a flat white surface that'll create a even distribution.I don't really believe that foil will cause hot spots.
Some of the best reflectors made are hammer tone aluminum. Though hammer tone is a bit different than crinkled foil. Those still only reflect slightly more light than flat white paint.
One of those mylar emergency blankets would be better than aluminum foil.
I'm not sure where the hot spot thing from aluminum got started. I suppose hot spots are possible. It's like the water drops will burn your plants by acting like a magnifying glass. It rains on my veggie garden all the time then the sun comes back out and no burn.
I suppose if anything maybe some of these ideas could be tested.
It would take a 1000w hid to cause hot sptos from foil I think. Maybe not. I've never tried foil. Always heard the hot spots and went with flat white.
Too bad you've been so obstinate & have missed so much info by arguing constantly instead of being able to listen open mindedly without getting defensive.Right, regardless how the critics feel about me, I guess I got all the elite growers on one thread. Wow, so much knowledge to absorb lbvs
Yea. I can't remember the last time I used the microscope or the loop.So In a nutshell, when you've done this for a long time you can just look at a plant and tell when it's ripe.
