you can grow mass amounts of poundage in a 30 gallon pot. the limiter is that he started too late in the season.

Just kidding, I've seen 6' trees in two gal pots, so I believe you.
That said, the smaller the volume for the roots, the more delicate the process becomes.

thanks everyone. it had started since mid April vegging indoor then moved outdoor into 30 gallon pots around June 10.

I have grown lots and lots of 2lb plants in 29 gallon garbage cans. Feed it better and you could smash with that plant.
