soil mix would depend on how experienced you are and how far you want to take your plants in terms of size and quality.Need to know a lot more bout your situation etc and how you plan on growing.Can be as easy as buying a nice soil in bags from a nursery and just feeding powerfeed if you wanted...that's the easy way....
